Has anyone got any tips for easily removing the CE2 from inside a map tank?

I have done it by screwing it to an old broken mod and trying to pull it out by "wiggling and pulling" but it was a real struggle and wouldn't move at all (I was putting quite a lot of force into it). I don't have a vice, so I ended up using the edge of a door to support the bottom of the tank and pulled the mod towards me and it came free suddenly (destroying the old CE2 insert in the process).

It was very hard to get a new insert in (I had to use a rubber mallet) and so I know it's going to be difficult next time it needs to be changed.

There must be a better way

Thanks

I use my door as well. Putting them in I've never had much of a problem, put on old battery (actually I broke the battery last time trying to take it out, so now I use a working battery), put into bottom cap, push. Hard part is getting in there just right, current one is pushed in just a little too far so that if I tighten it on my Provari all the way there's no airflow.

I would stay away from using Silicone Lubricant on E-Cig parts.

Silicone Lubricant would contaminate your E-Liquid and that would not be good.

I even read that someone had used a food grade lubricant like PAM and that it ruined the taste of the e-liquid; it was also hard to clean the taste of these other lubricants out of the E-Cig parts.

IMHO I would stick with using either PG or VG as a lubricant for E-Cig parts.

If ya have one that is leaking at all in between the steel of the CE2 and the Delrin you could also try a piece of Teflon tape wrapped around the steel CE2 before you push it in to help seal it. Especially if you have one that you have pushed in the CE2 to far as described in a post below, this will help that problem and seal you up again.
