There are a few different models of the Hexohm 2.1, regardless of which type you have, unregulated or not, the batteries are wired in a series configuration. The perk of being a series box is that you have a wider voltage range to work with.

Being a series box your amp limited is based on the individual amp limit of the batteries use, such that two 20amp batteries will give you a 20amp limit total, despite there being two batteries. This math is much more straight forward for unregulated devices and not so much for regulated devices, but the Hexohm chip should not exceed 20amps either.

If you have the OKL chip a 0.2ohm load at 20amps will work out to 4volts and 80watts, which is usable in the range that the device operates. If you have the unregulated hexohm a 0.2ohm load with fresh batteries at 8.4volts will result in way too much power and is not a good idea.

Low resistance loads like that are suitable on dual battery parallel devices and dual battery regulated devices. I personally wouldn't push that OKL chip too far though.
