I have a Kanger Pro tank and MT3 and both tend to leak after a few days. the seal isn't leaking, it seems like it's flooding from the wick. I replace the head and all is fine for another couple of days then it starts flooding again.

I recently got some Bamboo yarn (2MM, 4 strands (3in coil, 1 flavor) and made my first coil (6 wrap 32ga Kanthal) and tried this, it also leaked immediately. Tried with the exact same setup from the factory using the same size silica wick, same again. seems like it keeps flooding the wick. New head, works fine. And both the pro tank and the MT3 have the same issue.

Oh yeah, I switched to EVOD heads in the protank since I didn't like the airy draw.

Any suggestions?

I just found this thread, I'm sorry I don't have any answers as I am having the same exact problems you are and was hoping to get some help on the subject. Maybe we both got protank duds? I've bought heads for it from two different vendors (including EVOD heads) hoping that would fix the leaking problems but it hasn't. I'm ready to give up and throw it in the trash. Its so frustrating because I have scanned through different sites and threads and there are so many people talking about how great protanks are. I don't even get through a few hours without mine leaking and flooding. I've tried all combos of volts/PG/VG etc and nothing works. So now I'm back to using my trusty cartomizers which I love but was just getting tired of having to constantly top off. Sorry if I'm ranting I'm just annoyed that I've spent so much time and money on something that just wont work. Anyway, if I hear of any fixes or tips I will post them here. I wish I could have been of help to you but I'm in the same situation.

Ive had all kinds of problems with my pro tank II. I did stop the leaking/gurgling by cleaning then really tightening down every part.. to the point of breaking it.. . the head I had to tighten with pliars as you really cant get a good grip on it. Make sure the post ( above the coil ) is snapped in all the way by screwing it into the base and then post side down really lean on it. But I still have muted, rubber tasting flavor even after trying different heads and even recoiling one. If something is so full of issues it should have never gone into production and if quality control is a problem.. WHICH IT ALWAYS IS WITH CHINA .. they need to get it under control. If this were a 4 or 5 dollar item I could somewhat accept it but the pro tank II was almost 20 bucks.. Im ....... My vivi nova is still the king... pro tank shmo tank .. more like pro pain in the a** tank.
