new aerotank dual coils, getting dry hits?

im using the newer coils kanger released along with the aerotank 2 (the ones with just holes in the stem, no wicks protruding) and im getting dry hits up the b-hole. i though at first it was a bum coil. but when i popped another one in and primed it, same thing. im vaping 1.5 ohm with 11 watts. i tried stepping the wattage down to 9 with no real difference. and theres no way to get at the flavor wicks in these without tearing them apart. what the hell is going on?

I burned through a v2 Kanger dual coil pretty quick using VG juice. Since I've switched to 50/50 juice I've had no issues with these coils.

yeah i usually vape 75 vg to 25p g. its not too thick and usually i dont have a problem. it just seems like these new v2 heads cant handle it. for what reason, i dont know.

Moved to Clearomizers from Ecigarette Technical Issues

Perhaps try thinning out a little liquid with a few drops of distilled water....see if that helps ?

i found out what was wrong after i popped one open. for some reason the flavor wicks in these things are packed super tight into the cup. i pulled a few strings of silica off the top and it seems to work pretty good now.

and sorry i didnt post in the right forum, as you can see, im still kind of new here.
