Kanger 1ohm coils ?

I recently picked up some 1 ohm kanger dual coils, I tried one in an aerotank mega on the lowest setting my istick goes with that coil,(8.5 watts) but Im getting dry burnt hits. what am I doing wrong?,, yes Im a newbie

I'm not sure as far as the coils, but the Istick is already notorious for running hot on the lower settings.

Yep, if it's an Istick, dial it down. If you can't as it sounds like, go to a higher res head. Watch pbusardo's video if you're curious about the quirks with the Istick

And have modest expectations for the Kanger low res coils. From what I can see they didn't make any changes to those coils that affect their ability to wick, and they can't do it fast enough with the airflow allowed by the AT Mega and high heat levels. In my experience at least.

Sadly my protank 3 came with coils that read 1.1 ohm when I was on vacation. I didnt have mech mod so I just scrapped the coils and made micros. In my opinion the micros work better than the dual coil that comes with them anyway. I bought 2 tanks and all 4 coils read 1.1 ohms whats the deal with their coils? I tried 2 different vv/vw mods and same result. Also I did save one coil for when I got home and it seemed to put out a burnt taste withing 2 hours. I will just rebuild them from the start from now on. If you can rebuild them you can make them how you want them and not how the manufactuer wants them.
