Your tank will get warm with prolonged use for sure. So long as it's not your battery / device getting hot, it is probably normal and you needn't worry about it.
Now that said, if you are getting burnt or dry hits, notice your battery or mod getting hot, see smoke (not vapor), smell burning plastic,
experiencing weird flavors or discomfort, then something may well be wrong. You did say 'rly hot' - that is not normal, but it depends on your definition of hot.

Chain vaping does tend to cause your topper to get warm or hot.
When that happens to me I just turn down the wattage a bit.

Is it the whole tank that gets hot? If you are using the original drip tip, you might want to get a plastic or glass one.
Depending on the juice I am vaping usually 3.3V to about 4.0V. I am using the original drop tip. I am going to get a new one when I get paid. I was thinking one of the nuckle ones. And it is the whole tank that gets hot. Starts at the bottom but quickly spreads up to the glass. I'm kinda worried about that making the glass weak or something.
No worries if its just the tank getting warm/hot. Worry if the mod itself is getting warm/hot.

As long as you're not suffering from burnt/dry hits, you should be fine. I would just turn the power back a notch or two - not sure if you'd notice the difference, but it might not heat the topper quite as much.
When was the last time you thoroughly cleaned the 510 connection on the power device & threads on the nautilus?
I found when that happened that it meant juice had gotten in between the coil and the very bottom of the atomizer. If you take the coil out, look and see if there's juice down there and clean it out and clean the bottom of the coil.
I clean it every morning before I start vaping for the day. I'm a little OCD about having a clean tank and mod
try getting a Delrin drip tip. I stopped using stainless after switching to Delrin as they never get warm on me. also could try loosening the tank off the mod a bit(depending what mod your using?) if you have something spring loaded you could eliminate heat transfer from mod to tank if you loosen just a bit
do you notice that the warmth happens more with a fresh or dead battery? also how much do you think your vaping before if starts to get warm
I wouldn't worry about unless its getting so hot it burns you. Its just getting warmed up. That's when the vape gets good. Gets that juice all warmed up! Mmmmmm
