Hi fellow Vapors--first pic is the "MESS" first step in mod making.

Second and third pic is the mod I made. Powered by a single 18650 battery, Radio Shack switch and project plastic box.

Cover has 2 be adjusted a little as it does not close completely.

Used a 510 connector from old ego dead battery

Mini no name dripper on the top- hits pretty good.

This is the in side---I did not use a mosfet because of keeping my vape at 1.8 ohms and not working this mod too hard

Interior.jpg

and thanks for the compliment---my wiring is sloppy but will try again soon to make a better cleaner mod

built the battery connector from 2 --L shaped copper pieces and screwed them onto a piece of plastic and used screws on both

ends to connect. Put a spring on one end. Glued plastic chrome button from cheap license plate frame onto

small switch--have ground wire from battery going to one side of switch--other side of switch goes to

side of 510 connector---positive battery terminal attached to center pin of 510 connector

Hi 2buildawall----I did not soldier the wires to the ends of homemade battery connector I just wrapped the wires around the screws and titened nuts good

I bought small momentary switch ---"Normally Open" it says on the package- from radio shack and small plastic project box--plastic is easier to

work with than the metal "Hammond"

boxes that others are using. I studied the Youtube videos on how to make a unregulated 18650 box mod and it made it a lot easier 4 me 2

understand.--------I ran --old used wire-- from Negative end of battery to one side of switch----and other side of switch to outside wall of 510

connector that I took from old worn out ego battery.-------------ran wire from positive end of battery connector to center post of 510 connector.

I had to push pin out of 510 connector and resoldier the wire as it broke off on me.----Hope this helps

I am still working on the box before I do the actual build. I am using mahogany and have not had any extra time lately to finish. I am going for a dual 18650 so I will need to use a mosfet and plan to use an on/off switch. Now I am thinking of going much simpler to get my first build under my belt. I tend to over think things and am a perfectionist. Time to shift gears and get something done. Thanks for the information!

Yes for $8.00 you can have a mod by building it yourself----If your planning on sub ohm vaping and building your own coils and really working your homemade mod then I would

use a Mosfet Transistor and fuses but if you take it easy and use 1.8 ohm protanks and nautilus type of tanks then you can slide by with barebones set up like this.

Hi duckie_44-----Thanks for the compliment ---I am now in the process of rewiring this mod and trying an idea that came to me of having an isolated spring on the negative side of the battery

and having the power go thru a machine screw and 2 nuts and washer as some people were complaining about having their spring get warm and brittle.

With my spring separated from the negative side of battery with 2 rubber washers the spring cannot get hot.

Just got done with some decorative adjustments and will post pics again with these changes.---Now letting 3 coat of paint dry--never done with this modding thing hahahahahah

Hi fellow Vapers--I added old belt buckle to mod cover for decoration

I was not satisfied with positive conection for battery and so found old worn out double AA--battery charger and took the battery clip

and soldiered it to small copper strip and added it to positive end of battery compartment. Never done changing-- as you vapers all know how it goes.

First pic is finished mod ----I wanted a matching clearomizer so painted it white

second pic is under side of mod cover with 2 magnets glued-these attach themselves to the 2 screws in base.-

-third pic is interior with out battery--green wire is 12 guage and it is the ground and soldiered to base of 510 connector--I -made the negative connector by insulating the spring---power does not go thru the spring--did this because

some people are complaining about their springs getting hot------red wires are positive and go from battery to switch and then to positive on 510

connector.

last photo is old wiring MESS before I cleaned it up
