People use the Erolls different ways. Some buy a dozen or fewer (or however many they need for a day out) batts and take them fully assembled with filled tanks and carry them in a pack just like smokes. That's what I do so seldom take a PCC with me unless I'm in a paranoid state not knowing how long I might be away from home... lightens the load a bit. Some separate the batts from tanks and carry in separate places concerned with leakage on fully assembled ones... so small case for batts and smaller one for filled tanks and maybe a backup atty. The system is very versatile. I like carrying a pack like smokes because, though I haven't lost one yet, I never know when a batt is going to reach its end-of-days and, like I said, it takes less space and is a lighter way to fly for me.
