Metalic taste when exhaling?

Ok, so i started vaping with my DSE 901, i noticed i couldn't taste the apple flavor at all, after a few hrs i started to get the apple after taste but that was after i had exhaled. However when i exhale i get a metal type flavor in my throat..

So i cleaned my atty with tissue and blowing down the other end until dry but the problem still remains.. I've kept my cart topped up so that's not it..

It's still smokable but i feel it's taking away from my experience, will this taste go the more i vape?

I was about to say it might be your atomizer. But you mentioned you couldn't taste the apple for hours. Then, when you did get the taste--it was the 'after taste'.

I'm just guessing here.......is it possible the contents of your juice is 'stratified'? You know, seperated? If you can, hold the bottle up to a strong light and see if you can see layers of juice. Maybe shake it a dozen times.

The atomizers; I've got two atomizers over here that give me a metalic taste--I'm not sure why. Perhaps, in the past, I used menthol and didn't remember it (I don't like menthol).

Finally, if nothing else works...I'd wash it for two minutes in alcohol (put it in a coffee cup--pour alcohol over it--and swirl it around and around for two minutes)...then make sure you've got three or four drops of juice over the 'bridge' part (that's your heating element that pushes into the cartridge). Put the cartridge back on.

If this doesn't fix it blow out the atomizer again--HARD--stick the cartridge back on and try again.

Going to sleep now so i'm drying my atty out, placed it vertically with tissue inside to let it drain, so tomorrow morning i'll use a fully charged battery, shaken e-liquid, *hopefully* clean atty, and see how it goes..

Could just be the flavor of this juice is so weak i can barely taste it, and my sore throat don't help the situation. Ordered menthol flavor anyhow, so when that arrives i'm sure i will be able to taste it
