Making herbal extractions to use in eliquid? Absinthe liquid is the goal

Hey guys,

I have heard of extracting tobacco and coffee, but does anyone know if other herbals work? I want to make my own absinthe liquid, but am concerned the flavour may not sufficiently carry over into the vg/pg...

Seeing how absinthe is a concentrate already (meant to be diluted with 3-5 parts water) I was wondering if I could just mix that with PG/VG, then leave out to let the alcohol evaporate... anyone know if this would work? Considering wormwood has to be distilled to be even remotely palatable, this would probabaly be the best method (if it works of course)

I have found a few absinthe eliquids, but being a connoisseur of the green fairy, I have found many of them to be lacking in the subtle flavours that really define absinthe.

If I could make my own that would be seriously awesome!

I am not sure Id want to be ingesting wormwood on a regular basis, myself.

perhaps you could find a more neutral substitute with a similar taste?

As for does it infusion with other herbs in vg/pg...basically, yeah it should. Vg herbal suspensions are sold online I beleive. They are both essentially solvents. Even water is a solvent, like when you make a coffee or a tea...
