Hello once again and welcome to another vape review. Lost Vape has been releasing some great devices and kits as they usually do and the Centaurus Q 200 Kit is one of their latest. This is a device with power modes of more than just wattage so you people using Voltage, Bypass, VPC or TC should be very happy and excited. There are 2 different release's of this kit, one is the kit featured here today that includes the Centaurus Sub Ohm tank and the other version includes the UB Max Pod tank instead of the Centaurus Sub Ohm tank. There's a lot to cover so lets get started looking at some information fist prior to my review and findings good or bad of the Centaurus Q 200 Kit With the Quest 2.0 chipset and Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Lost vape almost always starts off with a nice presentation of their gear and this was no exception. Inside a outer sleeve is a box containing all your kit contents that are in compartments.

Lifting the box top you find the Centaurus Q 200 with the Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank already installed on it laying in a pre-formed cutout plastic tray with your paper info of the user manual and warranty card on top.

Lifting the tray reveals another pre-formed cutout plastic tray containing the charge cord, spare O-rings, spare bubble glass tube and the 2 coils supplied with the kit.

I couldn't help noticing how closely the dual 18650 Centaurus Q 200 resembles the Centaurus Q 80 Pod Mod Kit that is a single 18650 and smaller but just as thin that I reviewed last week, I'll leave a link down below if you missed it.

The 5ml Centaurus Tank can be broken down for easy cleaning, this is a simple push and pull coil installation with no flat spots that need to be lined up. The top cap on the left is a quarter turn to open. I like that the Blue O-ring on the top cap even match's the mod even though you don't see it except when refilling.

The bottom of the tank pictured in the center has 2 large juice ports that fill the tank quickly, the last item pictured is the bottom cap with 4 raised tabs that help to channel and recirculate any juice or condensation hitting the bottom cap. The threads on the bottom cap are buttery smooth.

The top fill openings are large enough to fit any bottle tip being plastic or a glass dripper.

The new updated UB Max coils that are supplied ( X1 0.15Ω - 80-120w ) ( X3 0.3Ω 40-60w ) have different mesh netting with the 0.3Ω on the left having a thinner more dense type than the 0.15Ω on the right. Both produce great flavor with the 0.15Ω producing more vapor and a bit more warmth.

Once filled and placed on the mod I think it match's up very well almost coming to the edges of the mod and being a 26mm tank, a 28mm should look fine if wishing to change to another atomizer. I found the stock 810 drip tip to be comfortable and didn't change it during testing, the tank does have a O-ring inside and the drip tip also has 2 on it as well.

The Centaurus tank uses 2 airflow slots that fully open give a great DL vape and is not on the noisy side being fairly quiet. Airflow is smooth with no turbulence and gets quieter the more closed it is, I like it with1/4 closed down from fully open for a nice RDL vape. Knurling on the top cap, airflow control ring and bottom cap not only aide you with opening but also add a nice aesthetic look.

The top plate is screwed in using 3 star screws and feels very secure. Being placed on the end above the leather spine instead of being centered works with the shape of the device.

Both 18650 batteries are loaded into the device via a bottom battery door that has some spring tension to it right before closing, there is some knurling of 5 horizontal lines that help when opening or closing the door. I haven't had any issues with the door opening unintentionally on me during testing of this kit.

Once opened battery polarity is clearly marked on the door with a + and - symbol indicating positive and negative position, inside the battery tubes the same is shown on the contacts that are harder to see, I would rather have a plus and minus sticker inside.

The color of the Blue is so deep that in very low light it almost looks Black and my pictures really can't show it's deepness. The leather spine meeting with the carbon fiber side panels really bring a elegant bold handsome appearance pulling all three together including the Centaurus Tank.

As far a branding goes both sides of the body have some with LOST VAPE in White lettering being on one and CENTAURUS QUEST being on the other, it's done well and I don't mind it. The Centaurus tank also has some branding as well between the airflow channel openings and the Centaurus logo as well.

As some other Lost Vape devices have 3 buttons so does the Centaurus Q 200. Having a select button really makes adjustments to the device so simple and you all know how much I like this Quest 2.0 chipset that makes it even easier yet.

At the top is the Fire/Power button, Display Screen and below it your 3 adjustment buttons with the top being + Up and the bottom being - Down with the Select button in the middle.

To make adjustments use the up or down buttons to move to what you want to adjust on the display screen, once there press the middle select button and the feature you want to adjust will become highlighted, once highlighted that feature can be adjusted using the up or down button. When finished with your adjustments press the Fire/Power button to return to the operating screen you started with having your adjustments now locked in place.

The display screen it bright and vivid with 6 different color choices for the display screen and it's laid out well with the information you need. The display screen information is below from top to bottom and left to right. The only button combinations are to lock/ unlock the adjustment buttons.

    * Lock/Unlock Adjustment Buttons - Press And Hold both Adjustment Buttons Simultaneously

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

As I think you can tell I really like this kit for so many reasons. First off it's a real looker in my opinion and the Centaurus Tank is a great match appearance wise. The mod is kind of on the thinner side when comparing it to other dual 18650 mods and being thinner makes it more comfortable to me.

I was excited to test out the new Centaurus Sub Tank and it came though in performance, both of the included coils produce great flavor and are above average with plenty of vapor also. One way I determine how well a coil performs is to use it slightly under the recommended starting wattage.

Both coils performed great doing this test and although for testing I ran the wattage to the recommended settings for me I got just as good flavor vaping them slightly below each coils starting wattage plus it preserves the lifespan of the coil

Using the 0.15Ω mesh coil I got great flavor at 76-78 watts so for the most part I stayed at that wattage for said coil, using the 0.3Ω mesh coil at 38 watts it performed just as well as on it's starting wattage of 40w.

Airflow is smooth across the board at any setting chosen. I will continue to use the Centaurus Sub Tank even now that testing it is over because the flavor is as good as it is.

As far as the mod goes It's such a pleasure to use being so simple to operate and navigate. As many of you know I feel the Quest 2.0 chipset is so very close to a DNA chipset but at a affordable cheaper price that I think I prefer it, sure I can't customize it as much but I don't have to use ESCRIBE when using it and it performs just as well in my opinion.

So in closing I will tell you it's a winner of a kit and recommend it 100%. This kit was sent to me from Joyi and Sourcemore with a discount code for you if purchased at SOURCEMORE.

    The discount code is Q200K

    THANK YOU
