Looking to upgrade charger

I've been collecting more mods lately. So now it's time to upgrade my charger. Currently using a nitecore intellicharger i2. From reading around in this section I may have narrowed it down. Either xtar vc4 or vp4. Any other ones I should be looking at. Want to have at least voltage readout. Currently using vtc4's and vtc5's.

I was also trying to decide between the two and I just ordered the Xtar VC4, because it also charges Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries.

I too, am looking for an upgrade charger. I have both Xtar and Nitrocore digital chargers.

What I am looking for is a charger with the power supply/ converter at the plug instead of in the body of the charger. My reason, though it may be flawed, is with the power converted outside the body of the charger there may be less heat at or near the batteries.

Anyone know of this type of charger?
