The last time I flew through Midway in Chicago, vaping was allowed in the terminal. Pretty much all the airlines didn't allow vaping in the waiting areas though...

This is the kind of information I'm looking for. I believe this information is helpful to vapers who travel. Thank you :)

I really take offense to those who automatically assume I'm looking at this from a nefarious view. Not worth beating a dead horse. ;)

Don't waste your time or energy, Robin. You're right, it's not worth it. I understand members coming in to post polite, reasoned comments about why they choose to not vape in airports, but the tone of some of these posts is insulting. Thanks for trying to gather info for those who choose to vape in vape-friendly airports. :)

If my post was insulting or snarky in any manner, I humbly apologize as that wasn't my intent, and as a frequent flyer I do want to know this info!

Info such as musichead or CarbonThief posted is quite valuable, as vaping was 'allowed'. But being allowed .... ie 'ecig friendly' .... is quite different than discretely vaping and not being approached as others have posted imho.

NO problems at DTW, SFO, HNL, LAS, or MSP. Vaped like I owned the place. I was more cautious at PHX, the TSA were like storm troopers there. I've also discreetly vaped my way on planes from Michigan to Hawaii and back, and Michigan to Las Vegas and back. I have only one blog, Vapes on a Plane. Worth reading if this topic interests you, and there are some other internet reference links in there. I think being respectful of others, while not looking sneaky, is the key to acceptance and the potential for public awareness of your rights to this activity.
