Hi ya'll!

I recently ordered the KangerTech Unitank as my old Protank was beginning to leak, probably due to me being clumsy with it! I decided to take a chance on the Unitank as it was on sale at my main PV accessory online store and so far I love it! I've only been using it for 5 days but so far so good! I really like the feature of being able to put on your own 510 drip tip, which allows you to personalize your PV and change its look easily. I like that the tank it's self is made out of a hard durable plastic resin, which will help guard against it cracking or breaking. The top fill option is nice, and changing out the atomizer head seems to be fairly easy, just be careful with the spring, as most suppliers are not carrying extra springs just yet. Other than the delicate nature of the spring this is the best tank I have owned to date. I've had no leaking, a smooth nice vape with tons of flavor. I use a 1.8ohm atomizer head with an eVic APV. I would not recommend this tank for beginners, though it has a fairly easy learning curve to master. Looks great on my eVic topped off with my turquoise drip tip! 131107-075444.jpg

    No you can't
    I have Nova’s, Protank1, and protank2 Unitank.

I love the Protank1 and Protank2 with changeable tip.

Been using The Unitank for a week now and prefer the Protank1, Protank2 over the Unitank.

I have notice my juice flavor has change with the Unitank not happy with that at all could be because it's plastic. Must be filled from the top. I'm going to put it away and use it as a spare tank.

I don't recommend it only because the flavor of my juice has changed.

I'm not impressed with the Unitank.

I'm only get a glass tank from now on.

I am waiting for Kanger to come out with a Unitank Mini... ( hopefully ), which I would think they would make just based on the previous products they have produced. I just feel the bottom plate is flimsy compared to the mini's bottom plate.

I absolutely dread refilling my Pro tanks, very messy, be much nicer with the top fill feature.

    Kanger Mini Unitank Coming soon

Kanger Mini Unitank Clearomizer is the newest product from Kanger. It's the most innovated ego series version. It has all the great feature as Kanger protank series, removable drip tip for convenience, brass metal part for the great feeling and highest quality. Furthermore, the most important improvement is that you have a bottom coil but can fill liquid at top.

    this was off Kangers blog

I’ve had the Unitank for a couple of weeks, and have not been all that happy with it. On the plus side, the flavor is fine, the draw is nice (not too airy; not too tight), and it looks good. The included drip tip is actually quite nice. But it’s far more fiddly than any other Kanger clearo I have.

It fills fine when empty, but I can’t top it off without juice leaking when the top is put back on. The spring is very tough to remove from the stem. The internal baffles make it hard to clean out. Worst of all, if you want to change out the head while there’s still some juice in the tank, you have to syringe out the juice first.

I like Kanger products in general – have the T3, Evod, Protank and Protank Mini. But the Unitank, for me, has not been one of their better efforts.

As a further update, I feel I get similarly satisfying vape results from the Unitank model as I do from my ProTank II. I see no benefit to the upper/lower tank idea except for those who like the "top-fill" feature. In my case, when I use the ProTank II on my mod or the Mini ProTank II on my Ego batteries, I refill by turning them upside down and unscrewing them in a way that leaves the coil/base assembly attached and removes only the reservoir, so there is no added benefit to me. Additionally, I find the Unitank requires more dexterity and is inevitably messier if your coil burns out and requires replacement when you have juice in the tank.

I have to add that my unitank plastic reservoir broke cleanly in two the first time I ever dropped it from waist-high on to concrete (while attached to a typical 18650 vv/vw mod). The break line occurred entirely within the confines of the upper stainless collar, and the fit between the tank and that collar is firm enough that I am able to continue using it by re-seating the tank back in to the stainless collar against the retained upper segment of the plastic tank. No leaks, but I'm aware it will re-separate easily if I roll over on it in my pocket or sit on it in my car.

What does it say about KangerTech that they do not seem to sell replacement tanks for this item? With the popularity of the Kanger line it would seem that some enterprising vendor could do a lucrative business selling nothing but Kanger replacement tanks and o-rings.

Kanger doesn't sell replacement tanks for their cheaper line but you can find orings sometimes. Its a good tank but keep in mind it is still a polycarbonate plastic tank and will react with some juices giving them a medicine like taste. Its definitely a tougher polycarbonate and doesn't discolor like some tanks but it does still react with some juices and crack.

I just bought one of these and I've only ever used tanks that feature cartomizer centers, unfortunately they stopped selling cartomizers in favor of clearomizers at my e-cig shop so I caved and bought this. I followed the package directions that came with it, filled with liquid and put it back together and NO VAPOR at all. So, I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong with this as I see others are having much better results. Is anyone else having this problem?
