Is this a good battery for what im planning on doing?

My vape mail hasnt came in but i want to try to use these batteries with a chi you clone / rsst

im planning on building it with 28 gauge kanthal and hopefully a .8 to 1.0 ohm single coil

The batteries are listed as 10 amp output.

How do I find out how much amps my mod is putting out @ .8-1.0ohm ?

Use the above calculator to figure out what amps your mod is setup is using. Just type in your voltage and resistance and the amps (current) and wattage (power) will be displayed for you.

You should be able to easily go down to 0.8 ohms safely with the 10 amp continuous discharge rating of that Panny.

from what ive heard the china crackdown on mail, batts and liquid are a no go they will be sent back to the vendor i would suggest aw imr 1600mah with i think they are 24amp rating

Yeah the crackdown sucks and right when I had ordered some sony us18650vct3's...Hopefully I'm lucky. 10 amps on borderline sub ohm might be pushing the limit! Most sub ohmers run 20+ amps!!!

10 amps would be MORE than enough on all APV's running "normal" ohm resistances!

Batteries aren't being sent back. They just can't be flown out of China any longer. As such, they're being put on the proverbial "slow boat".

That's good news for me! It may take a month but it's a sweet deal. I'll just have to keep building at or above 1 ohm til they arive which shouldn't be too hard. I have a 1.2 to run into the ground before I re-wrap it.
