Is the Chi You clone made by more than one manufacture?

I'm looking at the Chi You and Nemesis clones and wondering if more than one manufacturer is making them. I see activape has a Chi You clone for $75. Is it the same as the fasttech clone?

They are made by several different people.

The one on FT is rumored to be made by hcigar (whatever) or less likely Tobeco while the one from activape is made by Ehpro.

They are slightly different, take note of the plastic insulator on the bottom buttom of the Ehpro model, the FT version doesnt have this and it can cause some issues with a very limited # of batteries (aka not a concern).

The ehpro also apparently has gold plated contacts, which are also slightly different that the FT one.

Unless you see something on the activapes one that justifies almost 3x the cost, id order the FT one (and i did, its en route)

Thank you for the reply. I was set on buying one but learned from another thread they dont go well with boge cartos. I was told the airflow on a boge carto is blocked by the center pin of the Chi You

Now im back to square one. This "finding the perfect mod" is proving to be difficult. Maybe im asking for too much. I want a dedicated 18500 thats compatable with a kick2+18350. Bottom button, floating center pin and air chanels in the top cap. I want to flush mount a salt n pepper tank and my fluid flask. Id like to stay at $100 or below. Id love some suggestions.

Are you planning on using carto? Chi You is mechanic mod which will not play well with carto unless kick is used. usually people use mechanical mod for lower ohm coils. If you want mechanical mod, consider Nemesis clone. It has air flow ring for bottom fed air. GL!

That Ehpro Chi looks pretty good, actually. It appears to be fully polished in the pic. Is that any the gold plating worth $48?? That is only answerable by each individual.....
