Has anyone seen an Aluminum Chi You Clone before?

I just received this suposedly stainless steel chi you clone from eBay. Ecigdome Chi You Mechanical Mod Stainless Steel | eBay
and the Chi You clone I received today isn't even close to the one pictured on eBay. Here's a pic of what I received it's all aluminum, even the contacts are aluminum. Has anyone ever seen one like this before? How much does an aluminum Chi You clone normally sell for? Is it worth keeping or should I return it for a refund?

Nearly 100% sure that is the standard stainless steel chi you clone widely available, and the contacts are likely silver plated brass.

What makes it so low quality in your opinion?

The one pictured on the e-bay listing has the brass pins similar to the "first" round of chi clones, honestly it looks like the one you received has the "upgraded" silver pins and almost appears to have better quality machining in a few places.

honestly, that looks pretty nice for 20 bucks. what don't you like about it? The contacts definitely look silver plated and the mod looks like ss in your pic, not aluminum.

Also if the contacts are supposed to be silver plated but I removed the top connector screw and scratched the metal to see if it's silver plated copper or brass and it's not it's aluminum and so is the bottom connector. Also the bottom switch is marked "Ver. 2014". Because this clone is all aluminum and there's no stainless or silver plating I feel it's poor quality.

Since i own the exact clone pictured in the E-bay add, i just tested it with a magnet, absolutely non magnetic what-so-ever, so it likely means its made with something like 304 stainless, but i assure you, its not aluminum.

Also the pins you have could be silver plated stainless (stupid, but not unheard of), actually aluminum is a great conductor so it would make good contacts but is highly prone to corrosion and super soft, so i just dont see um making the contacts out of it.

Simplest way to very if its steel or not is to weight it and post the weight for comparison.

Again just going off what i can verify personally.

Honestly, that just looks like stainless steel. Polished aluminum looks much more white. If the body and pins were aluminum, their color would match much more than they do.

Not necessarily... in fact, 304 stainless steel (and all stainless in that series) is defined as austenitic, which means it's non-magnetic. But all of my stainless mods, which I know are 304, and one might be 316 (at least the manufacturers claim this) I can only describe as "very lightly" magnetic, and I only notice it when I put a very small rare earth magnet to the body (and I mean smaller than a battery spacing magnet). So really (and technically), the magnet test here doesn't apply.
