a. I felt like an ex smoker probably a week or so after I stopped smoking and made the switch. Honestly, the hardest part was that smoking was such a large part of my life and who I was for a long time, and I just missed the act of smoking, not the sensation. But that feeling lasted a week or so and then it was BAM..eff that stuff.
b.Most people, generally, do not fully inhale like you would a cigarette. Actually..for me ...I literally can not do a full lung inhale, my chest gets tight and I cough like you wouldn't believe. If I inhale; I inhale for a handful of seconds, keep it in my mouth and then slowly inhale..it lessens the harshness. I almost always do french inhales though, I love that. Pipe smokers say that you really can taste the flavor of tobacco and appreciate it more if you blow the smoke out of your nose..so i do that as well and they are right. The taste is more 'there' imho. As others have stated, the majority of nicotine is absorbed through your mouth/tongue and throat. So a full lung inhale isn't 100% necessary but a lot do it.
Best of luck! any more questions feel free to ask!
