From what I have seen on here it will. Even if it doesn't that would not be a good idea. LOL
No reason to tick them off when you can blow the vape into the trash dispenser. LOL
Not worth the risk of a fine. Some airlines do not like vapor. To bad really I guess they don't want the geese to start onking. LOL
I believe that is the term that some flight attendants use to use when talking about an upset passanger. LOL
Just stealth vape. No reason to make it tough no the folks that follow.

To the OP, I see you are in Vietnam. I don't know what the rules are there. But be aware if you come to the U.S., vaping is not allowed on planes here. If you do it and get caught, they could treat it like any other rules violation and you could be subject to fines and/or arrest. It is not worth the risk.

because the FAA says it's not LOL.

sorry, but even stupid rules have to be followed sometimes.

I am with Pappy,,,,it's NOT worth arrest,,,,,and being thrown off a flight,,,,,,,,,and if they have to LAND that thing where they are not scheduled to land it,,,,,,,,,you are talking BIG TROUBLE.

I'm a travel agent, and I've seen people thrown off planes (not in flight LOL) and arrested and escorted off, and it's NOT WORTH IT.

wait til you get off the flight and ASK if you can vape in the airport.

I agree.
Even though I can’t think of a valid reason for banning vaping on planes, please respect their rules.
On a long flight, I just wear a nic-patch.

The FAA has not issued any rules regarding vaping yet, although they are talking about it.
But most airlines do not allow vaping as per their own policies.

Smoke detectors that detect smoke particles will not be set off by vapor.
Smoke detectors that use photodetectors will be set off by vapor.

I have no idea which kind is used on planes, but I would definitely advise not taking a chance.

When I vape on a plane I will either stealth vape in my seat and blow the vaper down my shirt...
Or I will vape in the bathroom and blow the vaper towards the floor.

This is exactly what I used to do. First thing I did is ask the Flight Attendant if I could use my smoking cessation device on the plane. He told me as long as I wasn't obnoxious that they would have no problem with it. So to be kind to the people around me and not make someone think there was a fire in the plane I just took small puffs and blew it down the front of my shirt like DC2 described. That just wasn't sufficient for me so I went to the bathroom a few times and puffed away. I didn't even think of looking for a smoke detector to avoid - but it would be wise to avoid blowing the vapor in that direction. You wouldn't want to be the cause of a plane full of angry people having to land and delay their journey.

Lmao.... this thread makes me laugh. Some freaked out individual paranoid & terrified of flying is sitting behind you on the plane, all of a sudden they see smoke rising from your seat. Don't think that's a problem? Have some consideration & control, resist until the flight is over. Unless you're on like a 14 hour flight, screw that, vape away :p

Pardon me, I believe it was TSA that forbid it. My mistake,,I am going to check into that tomorrow, because the word from my boss is that it has been forbidden by a bigger entity than Delta or United. I don't want to give my clients mis-information. Thanks for correcting me.

I'm sure it's because of the chuckleheads in the TSA...be that as it may, I can always get by for a couple hour flight without vaping. However, I've had to make some really long haul flights (Sydney AU to LA then to Orlando, or Orlando to London) and I WILL sneak a few vapes in the restroom. For those occasions I always have a carto loaded with some 32mg/ml nic juice to keep the cravings at bay for a few hours. :) I've never been denied having my eGo style pv in my carry-on, but I have been questioned vigorously about it a couple times in LA and once in Singapore....
