Ok, so it seems 30-40mL a week is about average. That's cool with me as long as you folks haven't seen any adverse reactions. At a coil a week and a tank a day that's gonna run me about $30/week to vape though. Cheaper than cigarettes for sure (especially considering my insurance drops $120/mo by certifying as a non-smoker), but I've seen folks talk on here about vaping for $1/day or less. Does that typically require DIY juice and rebuildable coils? I'm looking at some potentially major expenses (moving and a new car!) so I'm definitely interested in being as budget-conscious as possible.

Find a juice vender that sells in bulk, try smaller sizes. As soon as you find a flavor and PG/VG ratio and nic level that hits all the spots you will be golden. I try and order enough to qualify for free shipping too.

Last order 3 each 120ml bottles total 78 bucks = 1 carton of Camels.

Things change as we learn & evolve as vapors. At first I was using 24mg with strong flavor profiles, and vaped 4-5ml/day.
Then switched to 12mg using more efficient equipment, and vaped about 6ml/day.
Then chased clouds for a short while, and used 30-40ml/day of 6mg liquids.
Now I vape 2-3 ml/day of 10mg liquids with light flavorings, and really do wonder how I ever put up with all that other crap.

So after getting set up with my new toys (Nautilus and a mini Nautilus on an MVP2) I've totally switched to vaping. I seem to consume juice at an alarming rate though. I'm not vaping on especially high settings (4.2V, mid-level airflow). I seem to be pushing through 4-5mL/day though. I've been vaping A LOT though, nearly the entire time I'm in my car, near-constant while at home, frequently in the office. I would say I've used about 30mL of juice just this past week.

At what point am I vaping too much (aside from the obvious nicotine intake limits, I'm not making myself sick)? How much do you folks vape? Has it changed significantly since you first started, in greater quantity or lesser? I haven't had a cigarette in a week, so I'm guessing that some of my very-heavy usage is related to being a week off cigarettes, what wisdom can ECF give me on the subject?

My first week too and I've got through about 40mls of juice. I use the 24mg but I feel fine and not inclined to reduce this. If it happens naturally then fine but I happy, I'm off the stinky sticks and I don't even want or crave them at all. I was smoking 30+ a day super kings. So it's way cheeper to vape. :)

Correction, I'd say I've vaped closer to 35-40mL this week.

Sounds more like 5-6ml per day (just doing the math). You are using dual coil tanks. They just use more juice. I gave my nautilus tanks away. I've got single coil PTs that vaped better and used less juice and battery.
I vape about 4-6ml/day. and that's been pretty constant since I started vaping. I'm using a Cana dna30 and a Kayfun 3.1 since July. The Kayfun caused me to decrease my nicotine from 18 to ~10mg which I also consider a plus.
If there is such a thing as too much vaping, I've never run into it. The Kayfun did introduce me to nic od though.

The dollar a day thread has some good tips :)

Learn to clean and dry burn your coils, and they can be restored to nearly new pretty easily, and you can do that many times before they reach actual "end of life." At that time, if you wish, you can learn to recoil / rewick them, and keep on going. (Or switch to a true "rebuildable", many of which are easier to do!)

Start trying out some of the online vendors for juice. It may take a bit to find flavors you like, but you'll find lots of options, and most are a lot cheaper than B&M prices. And once you find some flavors you really like, you can often get them in bulk. And one thing I do with them is get them in twice the nic I normally use, with an extra flavor shot, and cut it in half with PG or VG to get the ratio I like. Nearly half price.

And if you really want to save on juice, yep, DIY works well. Some initial up-front costs to assemble flavorings and tools, but after that...

Compared to the cost of cigs, chemotherapy, oxygen... no contest!

I vape between 5 -6 mls on average per day. I don't vape in the house, just outside or in my truck. I chain vape in the truck, and vape more often on days I spend a lot of time outside doing other things. I just finally came down from 24 mg to 18 mg after a full year of vaping, and it took me a full 9 months before I didn't have a cig once every 2 or 3 weeks... but it is a journey, and a good one at that. Keep up the good habit!
