Firstly, congrats on 3 months without tobacco :toast:

As for how many setups people have, you're going to hear a whole range of answers, but here are a couple of thoughts...

This is a board for vaping and a lot of people who hang out in here are hobbyists, so the numbers will skew higher than if you canvassed the vaping population at large. Just know that a fair few folks are reeeeeeally into this and the amount of gear they've got is extreme, to say the least.

Smoking is an addictive behaviour and so can collecting be. I've seen a lot of people comment that they are "a little OCD" and I think that as a group, we're prone to compulsive behaviour. Now, is it harmful? Doubtful. Especially when viewed in the light of the monetary and health costs of our previous habit.

For the first time in 20 years you aren't the bad guy/girl. I think it's only natural that it feels too good to be true, that there must be a dark side to guard against (assuming your OP wasn't completely tongue in cheek). That'd be the social programming talking (and he's a jerk).

Soooo... fill your boots, IMHO. If you ever feel the need to cull the herd, you can always gift tanks to people you meet who'd like to start vaping. It's all good.

Vaping since new years 14 and currently have:
Drippers- 2 plume veils, Mephisto, igo-w.
Tanks- kfl+ clone, kraken, protank 2
Mods- smoktech sid, magneto, nemesis, stingray, ipv2 v2.

Plus all kinds of stuff I never needed until I started vaping.

Still not too bad in the grand scheme of things. Planning to build a parallel dual 18650 or 26650 box mod for having lots and lots of battery life. It's a hobby for me now.

Hello and welcome to ECF. I'm into this 7 months and have happily aquired 1vv 1300 battery, 1vv/vw 2000 battery, 4 350 ego batteries, 4 1100 ego batteries, and an X6 battery(gotta have back ups you know) I have a protank 3, mini protank, 5 Kanger T3S tanks, 3 fancy carto tanks, 1small Calabash and 1 large Calabash tank, 5 GS-H2 clearomizers, 4 GS-H5 clearomizers, and my new Nautilus mini.: blush: I won't even attempt to count the drip tips and beauty rings, Bling bangles or Lanyards I have in my arsenal! To do the Vapeing (guilt) trip you have to be a Woman. So relax you have a long way to go to officially "OVER DO IT". The next thing on my list is a sports car to show off my Vape Gear in style! Have fun with it your a NON SMOKER! :D

I have only been at this for three weeks so only have one set up at the moment. I will be purchasing another battery and another tank along with some coils in a week or so. Then for My birthday I plan on getting a nice set-up. When I started vaping, I told myself that I would not feel guilty for any of the purchases because I was doing this for my health and you can't put a price on that. Of course hubby rolls his eyes and just says "yes dear" because he's perfectly happy with just one ego setup. I said yay more money for me to bling bling my stuff :D Anyway, I say that what works for you is what you need and don't worry about what others think. Anything to keep off the stinkies is good.

You need a minimum of 2 complete setups (mod & tank & batteries) - you have to have backups! After that, well.. having multiple tanks make switching flavors easy and well maybe your backups need backups... next thing you know you have quite a collection!

I spent quite a bit when I first started vaping. A year later, it's more than paid for by the number of cigarettes I haven't smoked. I keep an eye out for new toys and have a nice wish list, but I can wait a bit to get them. Sometimes with a little time and research, my wish list changes and I'm glad I didn't jump to buy. Other times, when I do buy something, it's d'oh - why did I wait so long!

I just passed my 7-months smoke-free. I went through some "starter" gear in the first couple of months, and then found MVPs and VV3s. Discovered Fasttech, a 10-pack of EVOD tanks, kayfuns and rebuilding this summer. Learned to DIY my juice a few months ago. Picked up a couple of full-sized and one mini Nautilus. Just grabbed three Protank 2's with airflow controls to go along with my Sigelei Zmax V3. Uhhhh, I like my toys. I'm hoping to hit my "break-even" point (had hoped I would have hit it by now, but )

I'm going to start PIF'ing my early gear and my EVODs. I'm thrilled with my Nautiluses, and first experiences with the Protank 2s have been superb today.

I don't need any more mods, I am saving boatloads by making my own juices. I have been rebuilding my EVOD heads which I can now use in the Protanks. Unless something *REALLY* awesome trips my trigger, I shouldn't need to buy anything for a VERY long time :)

Yeah, I've switched my smoking addiction to a "shiny-itus" addiction :D

Since I have started vaping, I have purchased two spinner batteries in which I gave to my wife to use, 4 vtc4 batteries, a charger, two stillaire rdas, an ss turtleship mod, and some backup tanks in case I have a rda blowout of some sort. Either way I have backups and I never can stress that enough. Always keep a backup around. Often times, I hear of people with having issues with their equipment and they have no way of vaping since they are broke and cant buy new equipment. So I think ahead and keep extras around since you never know when you are gonna need it and better to have and not need then need and not have.
