How long after quitting smoking do you start to feel better?

As you can see, Newtothevapelyf3, there are as many answers to your questions as there are vapers.

If I'm reading your post correctly, though, you're ingesting one bodacious amount of nicotine, especially for someone who smoked so little and for such a brief period.

7-10 milliliters per day of 2.4 to 3.0 mg./ml. is more than most vapers can take. For instance, I was a three-pack-per-day smoker for 47 years, and I started with 3 ml. per day of 24 mg./ml. I had to dial that down to 16 mg./ml. within a couple of months: that amount was giving me heart palpitations and headaches, both symptoms of nicotine overdosage.

I suggest you reduce the nicotine concentration.
See I don't have any of those symptoms. I was smoking American spirits menthol and those are really high in nic. I went to the doctor and my blood pressure was 122 over 165. You have to remember you inhale less nicotine in a vape than a analog

After 46 years of 2 packs a day, my chronic bronchitis cleared up after 3 days of vaping/no smoking ...

However, I am reminded of Leonard Nimoy, who reportedly quit smoking in his 50s, and lived to age 83. I recall that sadly, in some of the last photos taken, he was in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank ...

But its important to note that his achievements as a director came in the years after he quit smoking ...

I quit smoking at age 60. I don't expect to live forever, but I have no doubt that my quality of life is significantly better now than it might have been ...

My dad quits when he was 42 and he's now 96 and still plays golf, billiard, snooker and drives his Lexus everyday. My mom quits when she was about 50ish, she's now 86, plays at least 18 holes of golf twice a week, no golf cart just pure walking, with very low handicap, and of course still drives.
Me, I quit when in my 50s, and felt good right away. Been almost 4 years now without analogs. My health is much better. What more can I say except vape on!

You have to remember that even though you are getting nicotine that you are still going to withdraw from the other of thousands of chemicals that are in cigarettes! But after about a month you will be able to tell a difference. First thing my kids noticed was I didn't hack every morning when I got up.

They said that is how they knew I was awake!

When transitioning from a pack a day analogs to vaping, you need to meet your nicotine requirements.
I started on 18mg/ml nic and was on that until sub-ohming took over.
I'm not sure how you vape, but you may not be getting the amount of nic you were used to.
It's ok to go up, try 12mg see how you feel.

See someone told me that the 7-10 ml a day of 2.4 nic was too much for me and that my heart was going to explode lol

I like what others said- at first you may feel a little worse.
but after just a few hours your body begins to adjust............. then it is small incremental wins over time.
few weeks, you breathe a little better- few months taste a little better, 6 months you doctor says your blood pressure is getting better- a year you doctor says your lungs do not sound as filled with tar as they used to be, and so on.
I started with ecigs to cut down on smoking in about 2008, switched to just ecigs a few years later, and 2 years ago weened off of nic. Now I just vape 0MG. And I tell yah, I know the changes, and my doctor does too! ;)

After 40 years of 30+ cigs a day I cut out 25/day within the first week. In that first week the coughing started subsiding, especially first thing in the morning. Used to go through half a box of Kleenex draining sinuses during my first 2 cups of coffee and 4 or 5 smokes.
Had none of that going on after the first week.

I have irreparable lung damage from my smoking habit so after 4 years of vaping do not expect much more improvement, but colds used to knock the crap right out of me for weeks/months at a time. The worst case of I got in the past 4 years was last month, mild headache, slight congestion and some minor coughing for about 2 weeks. I "KNOW" if I was still smoking I'd still be sick and the symptoms would have been much much more severe.

VAPING??? I'm a believer. Cheers.
