Help, Tarot pro 160 got stuck after upgrade last firmware (v1.5)

my tarot pro 160 got stuck after upgrade last firmware from vaporesso.c*m (Tarot_PRO_APP_v1.5_20161207-3.tmy) it happened about 2 minutes after power on. (or after standby mode)

can you help me, solve this prob. thx

I never update anything until i have to.

It all goes back to my original ipod. I saw an update, downloaded it installed it and my $200+ ipod was instantly turned into a 3.5 Oz paperweight with 32 GB of memory.

Thank goodness iTunes on my computer had the old operating system and was able to restore the old system and bring my iPod Touch back to life with my 1,400 tracks of music and my Kindle library.

I don't upgrade until my banking and other apps NO longer work with the system. Then I cross my fingers and hope the update does what it is supposed to do.

Try flashing the firmware again. That might work.

Plug it back in and install the firmware update again. Then, assuming a Windows OS is used to do the firmware update, go through the "Safely Remove Hardware" step BEFORE disconnecting the USB cable. It should install properly.

Let us know whether or not it worked. I've had vape firmware updates that failed and have always able to get them to take on the 2nd or 3rd time but maybe I was just lucky.

Did you try a battery pull? Sometimes just taking the batteries out can cure weird mod issues. If not, as the folks above suggested, re-flash the firmware.

i did, it was failed. always fail update the latest fw (desember) give up now..

So you did try installing the firmware again? Did you try installing an older firmware as well or only the newest one?

i did instaling older fm, (november) and it worked fine. i dont know bout latest upgrade (december), is it fw bug?

fyi. i have a friend (tarot pro 160w user), he success upgrading the lastest fw.

Install the old firmware and use that.

Can you reinstall the November version of firmware? If yes and it works, just use it with the older firmware.

im using a tarot pro too...a Q for you guys....why even bother with updating it at all? seems to work just fine. wattage mode, temp control mode(s), and bypass.

what does one even get from an update to that?
