Was looking up info on e-cigs and found this forum. I have been a smoker for 10 years and am ready for a change. Thought I would check out e-cigs. The problem is I am Canadian and most retailers don't seem to have nicotine liquid. I am overwhelmed with the styles and choices for starter kits. I smoke about a pack a day ( 25 cigs ) . Any advice would be
appreciated where I should start my research.

Definitely read this section Canada Forum When you get enough posts you can ask questions there.

Also read the info pages link at the top to get caught up on the different types of ecigs and the lingo.

Welcome to the forum. I hope ecigs get you off the cigarettes. They are truly a marvel invention and, believe it or not, much better than smoking ever was.

Stick with ECF recommended vendors because there are too many overpriced somewhat scam ecig companies out there.

well..you picked a good forum to start with...theres too much help on here this can be overwhelming. Check Thevapebook.com...they have a link on the left side to popular e-cig vendor websites. From what I hear on hear the best e-cig to start with is an eGo e-cigarette kit. (even this cig comes in 3 kinds) but it has the best qualities to begin with. a bigger battery than the cigarette sized e-cigs ( last longer before recharges) comes in what is probably the most popular thread size ( 510 threads..the threads detemine which cartridges or cartomizers or atomizers or tanks fit it) and can be altered to fit many varying preferences.

welcome to ECF nbdiggity and good luck with your quitting stinkies.
E-Cigs are IMO the best way to accomplish that. I would suggest that you spend a lot of time reading the posts in this forum and then think about what your goals are and what your time frame is to accomplish those goals. that will give you a basis from which to form your opinions on what type of system is best for you.
The members on ECF are extremly friendly & helpfull and would be happy to point the way for you.
