What up people!

In compliance with the rules of having to post in here 5 times before I can post anywhere else, I figure it's time to start rambling. ECF is the best place to talk about vaping, period. I've crawled through these forums for months and after getting the "you must be a registered member to view this" message enough times, it was time to create an account (behind on times much?).

Anyways, I consider my build skills above-average, and I've been asked by several people if I was a member of ECF, so here I am. Definitely wanna show off my builds and get some feedback from people outside my "circle", you know? We all know that no matter how good you are at whatever it is you're good at... there is always someone better!

Regardless, I'll stop here and leave you guys with a pic of a recent build on my igo-w.

It's a modified dragon coil build (I spaced the coils because the original build with the coils touching in true "micro coil" fashion was waaaay too hot and burned my cotton right up!) running 0.2 ohm. Can't tell you diameter size of the coils, I just used a small screwdriver to wrap around. Anyways, 5/6 wrap with 26g kanthal, organic cotton wicks wrapped over and around each coil, then one more over the top, with the tail ends filing the "gaps" between posts 1-2 and 2-3 to intelligently use the empty space and feed the coils from the side as well as the bottom (but that pompadour tho!). It vapes - and wicks - like a champ.

Trust me, I got lots more pics to share with everyone, but I'll wait till I can bust out of the "new member" area first. ;)

Vape on, you crazy lil mofos you.

Thanks man! I work in IT and I've been a techie all my life, so playing with these things are the best thing since sliced bread yo. I do a lot of 'experimental' builds and while most are hit-and-miss, every now and then I build something that gets cowrokers wanting to see how I got it set up when I pop the cap to drip.

They are NOT difficult to learn to build at all, but it does take lots of patience and a will to learn if you want to do it right. The igo-w is an awesome 'starter' RDA. You can pick up an authentic igo-w for probably less than $20 from your local vapeshop. One word of advice, stay away from any 'clones' with allen screws, they will rock your world, I hate those stupid ones they give you. The damn sides of the wrench strip easily, and you can only 'clip' the end of it so many times before you have to toss it. Just my two cents.

Is it a Juice Hog ?? ;)

I wouldn't know, on a good day I can blow through 10-15mls between all my devices! Nah, but really tho, I actually don't think it's that bad (in comparison to other builds I've done). I think the 'spaced-dragon' coils I used work perfect for this setup as they allow juice to get 'inside' the coil and create a larger surface area to create the vapor and shoot out through the sides, making better use of the juice that is available.

I don't know, I'm not an expert at this stuff, I just build, vape, and repeat. :vapor:

Could you post another pic of that setup without vignette (unedited).

Here's 3 pics for you. Bird's eye and portraits of the 3 atty's I have with me here at work as well as a cross-shot of the igo-w. Unfortunately, since the time when the original pic was posted (it was taken a few nights ago), I took the top wick off to show a coworker how they fed through the gaps between the posts and haven't had a chance to re-wick yet.

Best I can do for ya right now!
