The D3 online for $39.99. I feel like an idiot.. Something tells me they're going to give me a hard time returning this thing. My vape spot (The Artisan Vapor) seem like a greedy place but hopefully I'm wrong as this will be the first time I'll have to really test their customer support. Good news is Evolv already has my device according to usps mail tracker!

Edit: So I was told all sales are final on ipv devices. I can't even be mad, that's what I get for rushing for a nicotine fix. Looks like I'm stuck with it. I was really looking into that cuboid too especially since the seller I get my coils from has it instock. Oh well lol

Return and Exchange Policy - Artisan Vapor Company

The last line does in fact have the ipv Rule but they also had a responsibility to make you were aware of that rule and to tell you to inspect your device, make sure it was working correctly, and performing to your expectations prior to your leaving the store. Stores with policies like this will usually require the customer to sign an agreement to that effect, usually on the credit card receipt. If they did not do these things you can go to your local consumer protection agency and file a complaint. You will probably win if you do so but they may only have to give you a store credit in exchange.

Personally I would not do any more business with them and would have made that very clear before leaving the store. Very surprised that a local B&M even if it is a franchise would risk losing a customer to mail order by not exchanging a device toward purchase of another mod within days of a purchase. Very bad business model! Very short sighted. People patronize local B&Ms & pay exorbitant prices & they do it simply for the no questions asked, customer is our first priority service.

This guy is acting like you did something wrong & he isn't going to walk into the back room & install new shrink wrap on the package and sell it again to another customer. Who is he kidding? Really bad business!

They certainly did lose me as a customer. When I purchased this thing she saw me struggle to get the darn thing on and thought she sold me a dead battery that needed to be charged. She didn't even help get the thing going and let me walk out without trying the device. It wasn't til I was omw home I checked to see if the multiple clicking to unlock works and to my surprise it powered on. I have to say the device is working much better now after a recharge cycle. Their prices were ridiculous anyways so I won't miss them as I already get my juices online. 60ml for $13 vs their $17 for 34ml and you can't even choose your pg/vg.

Paying less than $40 for 236ml w. extra flavor shot @ Mt Baker with coupons at times but some of their flavors can be a bit muted or not the best. Tried Ejuce Mafia back on Black Friday and got deals on 240ml bottles for $15 (was actually 2 120ml). Some of their flavors were so weak you could barely taste them at first & started ordering Bulk Flavorings to add to them from MFS to bolster them a bit. Thinking about DIYing moving forward but have yet to decide.

Start mixing your own, it's the best thing I ever did, now I don't worry when I do crazy coil builds & can vape at high watts without worrying that I'm blowing through juice.
With all the FDA & State Regulations going on DIY is going to become more & more popular by necessity.

I don't even know where to begin if I was to DIY. I just restock about every 3 months from Vapewild. I really like their juices and prices are not bad. I can be cheap at times so I get the non steeped juices and let them steep. Where do you guys get your stuff from for DIY?

Also still no word from evolv on their progress. They haven't even responded to my last two messages. They received my package on the 9th but it seems it's just sitting around somewhere in their office..

Evolv has only 19 Total Employees in the whole company according to paperwork from the lawsuit. They will still fix it faster than you sending it to china. The only way you might have got it done faster would have been for you to keep the mod and only send board back to Evolv for a hot swap (You send them Tracking & they send you replacement) & You installed the board yourself. Did HCigar ever get back to you at all?

If you don't hear anything in a couple of days just open your trouble ticket and ask them to confirm receipt of your mod & provide an estimate. Might float you to the top of the repairs cue.

Funny thing is they never responded to my message then I posted here and got a response. We might have an evolv employee in here lol. Was told it can take up to 7 days before I see my device back. I was more curious about the diagnostic, whether it was battery related or the board not when I get it back.

There are a few here that help out on the adopters forum that may have put in a word to have someone help you out. They may not have.

Evolv gave you a trouble ticket number that will bring you back to the original ticket. There is nothing wrong with asking for confirmation of receipt to verify your tracking info and requesting an estimate of completion time in a respectful manner. In a small company, often in the process of answering the request and providing a status update on it, the device might just get faster attention than it might otherwise.

Ok guys this was a shocker. Checked my mailbox today and guess what's inside? Yup you guessed it, my VT200! It was fixed on arrival because it was shipped out the following day. They never communicated with me so I just assumed it was laying around in a shelf. I don't know what the issue was but I guess it was the board after all since I was never contacted or charged. It's been sitting in my mailbox since Monday. Yay! Lol

The vape is just one of a kind I don't even want this D3. Idk how one mod can add so much taste but I believe the preheat setting is the reason. Now that I experienced a non dna mod I never want to go without this thing again. I'm chain vaping once again haha!

Glad to hear it! Yeah Evolv is like that. They never tell you what went wrong. Pretty sure they just grab a new board off the production line, solder it in, test it quick, ship out repaired unit and toss the old one into the damaged board recycle bin w/o figuring out exactly what went wrong.

Amazes me that a company w/ 19 employees can manufacture all those boards for all the different companies, innovate, and fix other companies products so efficiently. Great company. Got to admire them.
