Ohms are the unit of measurement for resistance. They are not synonyms.

If someone asks how much you weigh, you'd probably look at them ....-eyed if they asked, "What are your pounds?"

Just too Early in the Mourning to discuss Symantec's and their Use and Mis-Use in Modern Society.

And I'll say it again...

Be Careful using such Low Ohms.

The word you are all looking for is resistance.
And I'll say it again...Be careful using such low ohms.
Sorry, but you are both wrong ;) . The phrase you are all looking for is super sub ohmage as in: "What? 0.08? Yeah...Now that's some super sub ohmage...".

...and what "writing on the wall" would that be? My guess is you're trying to suggest that I don't know what I'm doing, but you couldn't be further from the truth.

I know my builds, battery safety, and equipment top to bottom. I know what I'm doing, and if you're attempting to imply otherwise based on the colloquial nature of my terminology, try again.

It implies to me a lack of attention or concern with detail when expressing a technical description. I could be wrong, but if you understand the correct terminology, there must be a reason you decided not to use it.
Just sayin.

Performance is where I found the biggest difference. On the two devices, I used (pretty consistently) a Tugboat v2 with a Pour Boy Customs comp cap. My go-to builds are either 20g Royal Wires, dual 5 wrap continuous on a 9/64 drill bit, which ohms out to around.08, give or take, and 22g Royal Wires, continuous dual parallel, 5 wraps on a 9/64 drill bit, which ohms out to around the same.08 or very slightly lower, with a faster ramp time.

That said, the Poldiac absolutely cannot handle those builds....

Good lord! I can't handle those builds! Why on earth would anyone want to do that? It's certainly NOT what I bought my Poldiacs for! That's really quite extreme stuff, and I'm compelled to say, hardly relevant to the thread.
