A Evic VTC mini or Kanger Subox would probably be great, they take batteries yes, but she can charge them through the mod if I remember correctly!
Then if she ends up wanting another mod or ends up getting into the "Let's swap batteries for a full charge" thing she can do that.
I'd probably show her and tell her about it, if she charges through the mod she might be inclined to roll with it and it increases the mods she could get by a lot.

Edit: A B&M with a juice bar would be great too, because she could test different juices and see what she likes!
Switchable batteries is a huge plus. You can go out, use up all of the battery. Is the battery dead? No worries, just plug in a new fully charged one!

Sorry to hear the turn things have taken. :( Still, be supportive of her attempt to get off the analogs. Friend Zoned or not, we take care of our friends, right?
Don't be sorry, we're staying friends and truthfully nothing has changed, just that we're not taking our relationship any further than it is right now, maybe in the future sometime though. I'm still going to take care of her and get her something nice, so don't worry about that :) We've been friends for about 15 years, and I want to stay supportive od her quitting because I want to be friends for a long time. Don't want her to croak from smoking before I do of old age, I'm a couple years older than she is :)

Thought I'd post an update- It became an after Christmas gift, my car payment being due the 28th and not getting paid until the 31st sucked. I ordered her the new Kanger Subvod, with her input, in pink. Also ordered some 12mg watermelon juice (what she wanted), and picked up a spare coil locally to get her started. Should be here tomorrow or wednesday, will post an update after they are here. Here's hoping she will drop the cancer sticks!

Gave her the Subvod today, juice wasn't here yet, so I gave her some that I had to get her started. So far she's loving it and doing good- I was with her for 4 hours and she never had a cigarette! The juice is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, so I'll probably run down there and drop it off after work (I get out at 8). I'll see how she's doing on not smoking, but I did tell her not to drive herself up a wall with wanting a cigarette- if she really needs one, have ONE. So far going good though!

I've been texting her and she said she had one since I left but it tasted nasty. When I gave it to her she was taking a puff here and there, I told her not to feel bad about chain vaping it if she needs to. It's better than cigarettes even if she does chain vape it for a while!

Good news! She's taken to vaping like a fish to water! Has only had two ciggies since I gave it to her, She said it was as easy to stop smoking with vaping as it was to start smoking. Was over at her house today, where her parents still smoke like freight trains, I picked up a full ashtray from the living room where we were sitting, dumped it in another partially filled one, walked into the kitchen without a word and left it on the table next to another partially filled one. I went back in the living room and said you don't need those anymore, you can finally say "I don't smoke those things anymore". I'm so proud of you for quitting! She said thanks, it wasn't even hard. I'm so happy it worked out, now just to work on her parents, but it's going to be hard, neither have any interest in quitting cigarettes or even trying vaping.
