LOL! While I am not Jewish, I use that word to mean that everything is alright and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my actions (in this case: vaping where it is not frowned upon or prohibited). How is that? Are Jewish people more tolerant?
......... ... Juuuuust kidding.
But anyway, most hospitals are not only and obviously smoke free....... But the signs I've seen at hospitals here in and around Chitcago are "smoke free environments" ...... So that's where it's coming from..... I'm sure there are some weirdos that would consider vaping in your car in a hospital parking lot to be a felony offense........but I'm also of the Idgaf mentality when common sense over rules illogical or irrational arguments !
I totally understand the dry burning! I will walk my mod outside of the local B&M to dry burn my coils if gunked up, just so that no one has to smell or breath in that burnt smell. As a courtesy, I don't dry burn my coils in smokefree environments. Otherwise I feel as if there is no smoke, there is no problem.
As far as tobacco free environments, until recreational nicotine is deemed a tobacco product by a government agency with jurisdiction, I am not using a tobacco product when vaping (non-tobacco liquid).
While 98.9% of my vaping is done in acceptable places, I have stealth vaped at the movies and a recent concert I attended. I will not even take in a mech or box mod, just my Nautilus and iStick. While this still puts off a decent amount of vapor, I will counteract this by holding it in to ensure no vapor and blowing it toward the floor as extra precaution. Movies can be pretty long, and I have even been lucky to have the theater to myself or group a time or two. Then I am not concerned about vapor. At the concert (christian btw, so I am sure more than a fair number of ANTZ in attendance) we were so high up in the next to last row of nose bleed section that I was pretty nervous. The slope of the section looked about 45°, and less than a foot to stand on, so I vaped to ease my nerves. I still held it in, even though they had the fog machines pumping VG in pretty hazy, and only once did one of the people I went with make a comment about it. She knew I had it and was vaping, and she asked what the flavor was, that it smelled really good. So mission accomplished, nerves were settled and was discreet and stealthy as possible!
