Get smell out of T3S Clearomizer?

Hi all,

Newbie here, and I have a T3S clearomizer that is hanging on to the smell of the apricot juice it held, despite washing out. I tried searching but couldn't pin down a good search term or phrase to get an answer. Any trick to getting the smell out of one of those things? Thanks for any advice.

Try soaking it in vodka for a while. It's polycarbonate so it's probably going to hang onto smells quite easily. If you like the form factor of it you may like a Kanger ProTank mini which is Pyrex and doesn't hold onto aromas like the polycarbonate does.

Distilled white vinegar, than a thorough rinsing. That even took the fireball smell from my old t3s

Soaking / cleaning with PGA will remove as much smell/taste as you can get out, some flavors can't be removed.

Sorry - maybe a dork question - but what is PGA?

Pure grain alcohol - aka everclear or high proof moonshine.

Agree with the vodka, but not the Protank suggestion. I like my T3Ss (have 12 now), hate my Protanks to the point that I don't use them.

I've used regular rubbing alcohol for a 10 minute soak, coil out, and rinse with water. Compressed air to dry it out and good to go.

Yes, alcohol (Isopropyl, PGA), vinegar and denture cleaning tablets work great--then rinse and dry.
