I have been sent the new Skyfall RBA from Focusecig for feedback.

What is it? Well, its a very innovative design that allows the user 3 configurations. It can be used as an RTA with a tank beneath that can squonk (wet the wicks) by pushing down on a ring near the top of the tank. You may also use the deck as a regular rda on any mod or with a bf 510 pin for use on a bottom feeding mod like a Reo.

Where can I get one? In the US at VaporDNA for $39.99. I have a coupon code for $10 off for you:
VaporDNA.com - Friend Offer
I'm not sure how long the coupon is good for.

Here is a video from Focusecig:

Unfortunately I was missing a part to make the electrical connection to the squonk tank, but expect it tomorrow. So for the past several days I've been using it as a bottom fed RDA on a Reo. I do know the tank squonks well though as I tested that feature. Plenty of pics and feedback tomorrow when I get the part.

Features:

Glass tank
22mm diameter
Adjustable 510
Roomy build deck with two posts. Post holes are large and should accommodate large twisted or Clapton coils. The post screws are very nice also with large Phillips heads.
Side airflow
Single or dual coil
Large chuff cap
Cap with 510 drip tip also and can use other 510 drip tips in it
Plenty of spare parts

Tomorrow I will test the squonk tank for you with the 0.55ohm dual coil build I've been running on the Reo. Then I will test a single coil build, and a more interesting dual coil build. Stay tuned!

How's the airflow on the provided rda? Because I found out my royal hunter barrel fits on my velocity deck, so I was thinking I could buy the bottom feed pin for the velocity and then use that setup, unless if my royal hunter barrel fits on the provided rda. But if not would that work? Or would it not fit properly? It does look pretty tall haha. Oh also does the wider bore drip tip get hot? It doesn't seam to be lined with delrin or anything just stainless steel.

I'll try to answer all those questions today :). I can say the airflow is very adjustable.

I was also thinking other bf RDAs could work on the tank. I'll try some out :)

Build 1 for squonk tank

Coils: 9 wraps each of 26g for 0.55 ohm. I was using this build on my Reo with just the RDA section while I waited for the missing part to arrive :)

Wicking: I tucked my wick tails beneath the coil, close to but not blocking the squonk holes beneath the block.

Ok, NM, Photobucket keeps crashing on me! I will try later to post more pics for you. I did also take one with it on my Sigelei 50W for you to see the size. It is smaller than my tallest attys like the Rose v2 by quite a bit. It's slightly shorter than my 6ml Aromamizer.

Verdict: very pleased with the performance of both the RDA and the squonk tank. Its putting out quite a respectable cloud at 30W with very good flavor. I even used a juice I don't like that much since I'm testing and it's tasting quite flavorful! No leaks of any kind.

Fills easily using a needle tip bottle. I just used a plastic needle tip bottle, not a metal tip. I do think filling with an eye dropper is a no go though. I am not going to try it.

Cons: it was a little fiddly adjusting for the electrical connection. I had to unscrew the 510 pin in the RDA one full turn to do it or the adjustable nut in the tank wasn't going to be threaded onto the tank's long 510. I did one full turn because I needed the holes in the bf pin to line up with the holes in the block on the deck.

All in all though I'm very pleased with the performance! I've been wanting a regulated squonker for a while now. The Skyfall allows me to use any mod I have as a squonker. And when it comes to dripping, I'm lazy, lol! I have a ton of RTAs for a reason. I don't like to leave juice sitting out because I don't want a member of my animal family getting poisoned. And I get tired of walking to the kitchen, getting it out of the cupboard, filling my dripper, cleaning up the mess, taking my vape back to the living room and repeating over and over. So when I drip, I squonk :)

I'm going to set up the spare squonk tank now and try my other bf RDAs on it. Well, the Cyclone and Nuppin. I need to rebuild the Velocity. But, if the other 2 go well, I'll be building that Velocity soon. I've wanted to put Claptons on it, but wanted a regulated squonker to run it. I think I might have the solution for that now!

I've been using the Skyfall for 1.5 days now. It doesn't leak unless I oversquonk. Then, like any RDA with side airflow, you can get a bit of juice oozing out the airflow slots. Not as much as I sometimes get from my Derringer though. None has gone down the tank or onto my mod. I've had to blot the RDA part by the airslots a couple of times though. I've refilled once so far as I have a lot of attys.

When I change builds or have any issues or other comments, I'll update.
