The 26650 Pico is just wrong in all sorts of ways.

Cell type: High-rate 18650 cell (Continuous discharge current should be above 25A)
Cell type High-rate 26650 cell (Continuous discharge current should be above 35A)

Too bad that 35A+ CDR 26650's don't exist, or even 30A CDR versions. Keeping with the 3.1V saftey factor, the current crop of mooch's top 26650 (25A CDR) will give you the 10% window at 70W. No one should buy the Pico to vape it at Max wattage anyway.

Also the 6+ hours to charge if you use the onboard charger...

They should have just kept it 75 watts for both battery choices.

gotcha, but thinkin the first order of bizzness is to be sure your new PICO is not at fault

swapin' several topper tanks and maybe goofin' with TEMP CONTROL, so if need be, return it in allotted vendor time o_O

:2c:
Turns out it was the tank. The bottom pin holds the positive block in place on the coil deck; I re-coiled and the positive block was a little loose. Tightened everything down and it's been all pitch perfect for the last few days.

GREAT ! - very cool

I find MORE TIMES THAN NOT, that is usually the case - it's something we did and not the device

actually amazing considering the low cost, low quality, churned out devices we purchase (yeah that's a tip of the hat to the Chinese manufacturers)

and life goes on...

:)

Leaving the minimal clearance between the connector and battery cap seems like a major flaw. Somebody's gonna want to put a 23+mm tank on it.

Yeah, it's going to be bigger anyway. I guess they were trying to make it as small as possible, but still, I think it should have had room for a 25mm tank

I've got enough Pico's. Back to stocking up on DNA75's. This new 26650 one looks STUPID! Funny the yet released HCigar DNA75 Mini, is the reverse of this Pico. They first released the one that takes that paper weight 26650 battery, and now a much smaller 18650 version. Besides, while I like my Pico's, you can't beat an Evolv DNA chip!

Sure and someone else is going to want to put a 25mm tank on it and so on and before you know it the Pico is not pico but hecto or zetta. or a pico mega :cry:o_O

Definitely. User beware. Honestly though, I'm gonna go for a 15 amp continuous battery for this one and keep my builds within that limit. Why? 5000+ mAh of course.

Look closely at the photos. I'm seeing at least an additional 1mm between atty and battery cap over the regular Pico. Times two means clearance for 25mm attys. You might not like the overhang though.

I mentioned that myself, but might have been on another thread. I'm not 100% sure the outside diameter of the groove is the same on both, but I do think the Mega has slightly more clearance. Not crazy about an overlap, but I'm not going to buy a Mega, so I guess it's a moot point. ;)

You're not alone judging by comments here. I want one for sure, and figure an Avocado 24 to be a good companion for it. :)

Agreed on the speculation, and not having a desire for one either.

But I wish I could give you a few extra likes for spelling "moot" properly. :p

I really like that full black, but I think I'm too hard on things!

I work from home so my picos don't get out and about much. When I leave the house one does go with me though so it will go in a silicone sleeve before it goes into rotation. I ordered 4 sleeves from ebay (2 color combos for me and a solid blue and solid black for my housemate) to get a few on the ones in rotation as my housemate is very hard on hers (2 bent/broken nautilus bases already) and have a dozen in my FT cart. The dozen from FT is $10... they go for 5 - 7 bucks on ebay lol. These ebay guys make a good markup.

Thanks for the thought, but I'm REALLY HARD, on mods! My Pico has bounced off the concrete from my shirt pocket, twice, I'm 5' 11", and once onto gravel. I lost count of how many cigalikes got smashed by a hammer or dropped into fresh concrete.
I used to throw my Provari on the floor of local vape shops to show if's durability.
A silicon sleeve won't do much for me I fear.

I put a blue silicone on my housemate's black pico today and when I refilled her empty tank on the istick 30 I decided to replace the mod with a newer grey pico since they are more stable and put a black silicone sleeve on it and didn't fill her in on the change/swap. Later she goes to change mods so I can refill her tank, takes the blue sleeve off the black/old pico and slides it over the black sleeve on the grey pico.

In her defense she has poor eyesight.

Currently using that tall/tippy istick 30 with a kanger subtank mini for a desk vape while sipping some nice 120 proof bourbon.

I have sleeves for a number of my early mods, not so much for the newest ones. I do love them though.

I did just place my first two FT orders, and grabbed two 5-packs of various print Vape Bands.
Talk about a domestic mark-up.

:p
