E-Liquid -What do you think is the correct level of regulation

My personal views fall somewhere between 2 and 3.

However, that having been said, I've also got to agree with Rookie to some degree. It DOES seem that most good intentions of government regulation get twisted and perverted somewhat within the adjudicating body. What starts out as a well intentioned preventative measure often ends up as a mess of tangled red tape!

I like option #2, but I think regulating the 18 Y/O limit would be problematic..........

I would have liked to see check-boxes... not just one answer...

My real answer is... "It depends".

Regulation as in manufacture standards, yes.
Regulation as in package standards, yes.
Regulation as in label standards, yes.
Regulation as in testing standards, yes.
Regulation as in prescription, no.
Regulation as in adult only (18+), yes. (For nicotine only.)
Regulation as in demanding company follows standards, yes. (For each market it is sold.)

By regulation, I am not saying... they build an office inside your warehouse and watch over you like a hawk. Regulation is a set limit to levels, frequency of testing, use of approved machines, trackable identification, expiration dates, liability insurance, random testing, applying for a recall program, demanding certain additional tests of concern are conducted.

Prescription... for a pseudo-toxin... I don't think so. Until I need a prescription for coffee, sugar, spray-paint, gasoline, turpentine, alcohol, arsenic, lead, mercury, x-box 360, computers, automobiles, scooters, bubble-gum, or any other addictive or pseudo-toxic or pseudo-poison...

Label it for what it is, and it is actually what it says, limit it to adults, hold those accountable for avoiding the facts, and make sure they continue to do what they say.
