I haven't laughed so much all week! And now I feel lots better about putting my vv in a cup of coffee yesterday! I was checking email and didn't realize I'd done it until I got ready for another sip of coffee. Yeah, my incident doesn't compare!
Same thing happened to me sitting in the bathtub, having tea, reading a mag, dropped my ecig... now I have a battery with a neck leash for such hazardous situations.

If it works, it works...If it dies, replace it. (I'd order a spare now just in case) and if you plan to sit around licking your batteries maybe swab it with alcohol first. beyond that, I'd say just keep vaping and try not to think about where your mod has been...lol
as to all this business about toilets hosing down the bathroom...IF this is going on you'd need a airtight and biohazard safe negative pressure toilet to really avoid any contamination. LOL
Also, I don't wear a biological filter mask, or self contained breathing apparatus while using the john, and I've yet to contract e-coli.

Me personally, I just have regular old plumbing in the walls. Luckily I didn't grow up with a mom who is one of those lysol nazis spraying stuff all over the house. As a result, I have a pretty great immune system. Though I do wash my hands pretty good after using the john or cleaning the toilet...
And also, I've never dropped anything in the john that was worth fishing back out...hahaha

Lost a checkbook out of my back pocket in the john, but i tend to sit my silver bullet into full drinks in my cup holder in the truck. This thread is great!
Reminds me of the time my little cousin gave his ipod a bath in the sink. Thats exactly what he told us when we saw it. HAHA suprisingly it still worked!

OH boy. Been wondering when I will do that. Better you than me. LOL. Glad to hear the battery survived. What type of battery do you have? FYI there is a electronic cleaner that will not short out electronics at Radio Scrap. I use to be an Electronics tech. so I use to use stuff like that all the time even on energized circuits. It is in a spay form it will displace moisture too. Avoid using the battery for a while if you can. If it has a vent then some liquid (yuck) may have gotten in. I would have tossed the carti too. Fishing stuff out of the toilet is a measure of you commitment. LOL
