drip tips | Stainless Vs Aluminum

since I moved up from evods to RDAs I've used only stainless steel tips but I just bought some aluminum and their on their way.
my question is what is the real difference between both types? why will one go for one or the other besides design and durability? any pros or cons?

I don't like the aluminum. It tastes like metal to me and just doesn't feel right. I won't drink out of a can either.
I was sticking with Derlin but am really liking the brass tip I just picked up and stainless ain't bad either.
I'm also curious about the use of "medical grade adhesive" in drip tips. I'm looking at the glass ones from Rocket Science and see they use medical glue...that concerns me.

In my experience aluminum tips tend to get hot fast and add a metal taste to the vape. While SS stays cool longer and is fairly neutral towards the taste. I can't really say much about durability as my aluminum tips got thrown in the vape drawer fairly quickly, and my SS tips while used heavily don't really take any kind of a beating. A couple scratches here and there but how do you really hurt a chunk of SS?

There was a thread around here somewhere that mentioned the chemicals used in Anodizing of aluminum and some concerns with these chemicals getting into the juices (think of "Tank Crackers") and ultimately inhaling said chemicals. I myself am not too concerned over it, after all, I wasn't too concerned with the slew of chemicals I inhaled all day when I smoked, but to some, this is yet another unknown in the world of vaping.
If the aluminum isn't anodized, no problem... but those light weight little guys do heat up fast.

The heat issue wasn't an issue for me, but for a chain-vaper it could be. It may be the way to go actually now that the cooler weather is upon us up here, not so much for you...
