No. I started because my Dad said he bought one for my Mom. Primary driver was cost and toys. I like toys. I also like the idea of no tar and no carcinogens. I was attracted to the no nic option and it will still be there for me when I'm ready.

I have no plan on quitting e-cigs anytime soon. I haven't tried Cotton Candy yet! And I've got French Pipe and Banana arriving tomorrow. Heck, I'd only just found what Johnson Creek flavors I liked and they went and changed them all.

I keep saying, find five flavors you like. Stick with those. But I can't. I'm the guy who goes to the buffet to get a variety.

I did not intend to quit smoking, I intended to quit tobacco. It's just via a fun vocab shift that I quit smoking, I now vape instead. I had never heard of ecigs until a little over a month ago and have not had any temptation to go back to nasty cigs.

My intention going in was first health, followed by cost and stench, then family concern, and lastly to gain access to flavors other than .... flavor.

In the past month I've put together a collection of 801 and 510, a dozen spare attys and batteries for each, 400ml premixed liquids, 250ml of 48mg unflavored. I've no intention of quitting vaping, but do plan on reducing my nicotine intake until im just using flavored pg/vg.

I had been trying to quit for 10 years trying all the Big Pharm NRT's that simply don't work. I knew almost immediately that this would do the trick, IF I could find a device that would provide at least a modest amount of consistency. Cut down from about 25-30 a day to 8 with the 901. After getting the Screwdriver, I quit completely the first of April. Now with the Prodigy and the Screwdriver I know that analogs are gone for good. In addition, all the support from so many good folks on this forum was a big help.

I have a 901 and like it but what is a screwdriver? what does it do different than a 901?

I really didn't buy my first e-cig (Njoy Npro) with the intent of quitting. I bought it last winter in hopes it would work as a better substitute than Nicorette Lozenges for times when I couldn't smoke (or would otherwise have to go stand out in the cold to smoke).

I did buy my current e-cig (DSE901) with the intent to eventually quit analogs, but it took me a few months of fiddling around with it, learning and finding good e-liquid (and just generally getting up the nerve) before I actually set aside the analogs.

I did not even buy my first ecig. My husband read about them and started googling the internet and found they sold them at the Pilot Truck Stop. He went and bought me one and brought it home. I didn't like smoking but could no stop myself especially after 40 years. He was more concerned about my health. So I thought I would give it a try. After a few weeks I have completely quit smoking.

He said anybody should be able to quit with ecigs if I could. I have been smoke free for 6 months and have spent well over 4000.00 but he doesn't say a word. He just laughs when I get excited about receiving another package in the mail.

I totally decided to try e-cigs to quit smoking. Mostly for health reasons, but the outrageous cost of cigs here in WA ($65 per carton) was another big motivator. The final straw was when they switched to those horrible fire-......ant cigs by law. With my very first vape, I knew I'd be able to quit with no problem. In 2 weeks, I kicked my 35-year, pack-and-a-half per day habit. FDA, DON'T TREAD ON ME.

I have not had the intention of quitting. I have never liked the taste of analogs but love the act of smoking. e-cigs take care of both issues. They don't taste like crap and I still get to enjoy the act of smoking.

I mainly smoked while drinking (having a couple of drinks had me looking for a cig). That being said, I have noticed my hangovers are much less severe now.

i definitely did not buy with intent to quit. but low and behold 2 weeks without an analog and i'm starting to feel a LOT better... the morning hacking of flem has been declining and i can SMELL AGAIN. and things are getting even better. My "cravings" aren't gone completely, i'm forcing myself down to about 18mg nicotine, and trying to go lower faster. i actually dont plan on stopping vaping just getting to really low nicotine levels.
