I love the tuxedo cats. My tuxedo's name is Near, and he has the white paws but also has the white chin and a white half-stache. He's so dorbs.

Yes he is! Tuxie's tux is *almost* perfect, except for apparently leaving on one white sock.. And on the other back foot, some white "toes". What we love best is those white whiskers (though her "eyebrow whiskers" are black) -- the white whiskers look like her "white tie"! The white stripe down her belly is like the edge of white shirt showing under the black tux. :D

We have a pretty good idea where she came from; there was a beautiful tuxedo kitty a few streets away from us, at that other house; in bright sunlight, you can actually see "tabby stripes" in Tuxie's coat, like black on black, like a leopard -- so her other parent was evidently some type of tabby -- there was a great big ginger tabby in the neighborhood that some evil person apparently poisoned, just a few weeks before Tuxie showed up -- the ginger tabby "went to earth" under our carport and died there, and yeah the stink was horrible, but it made me so angry I cried, knowing someone had deliberately poisoned that beautiful cat -- I once saw it trotting proudly across the backyard with a squirrel hanging from its mouth, like "alright, dinner!" :D

I have the door where I store that stuff locked. I am concerned about the vapor with animals. especially birds. most "real" bird people would abstain but they can't say for sure. I am not even sure it is good for cats and dogs. doing it for years and everyone is alright though. we live on a farm. there is even a turkey from thanksgiving in the kitchen. he is alive and well not food!

Yes, apparently cats shouldn't ingest PG, it causes a type of anemia in felines. If she was enclosed with me vaping in a tight space with no ventilation, I'd be concerned, but from the traces in the air, out in the open air of the whole house, I'm not going to worry about it; she's probably at far greater risk from wildlife and cars, when she's outdoors. Life is full of risk; one can either accept it and carry on, or lock oneself in a closet. We put up that cardboard-box blockade at night, just to forestall the usual kitty-curiosity when there's no one around to tell her NO! :)

yeah I agree with you. we need to live but the box was a good idea. no reason to push the fast forward button on any creatures life. I mean someone that would blow it in an animals face is abusive. in the whole home it may not be a concern. the birds are on a different floor. I don't know if the forced air fans bring anything dangerous in their room but I doubt it. that's really weird because cat meds are compounded in pg often! same as human meds. different specifies have different risks. bunnies and birds are overall more sensitive to anything than kitties. cats are rather robust which is why they live outside. still you have to think of animals that can weigh a few ounces up to pounds. so eating it would be an emergency I am sure. ill tell you one thing. animal poison control is a scam! they charge for nothing. if an animal is sick or injured go right to the er.
