Can't taste juice

Hi all,

I am Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them? I can't taste much from my juice at all today. I have been vaping exclusively for just over a month with no issues and now my fav juice has no flavor at all and everything else is very muted even on the zap. I can taste food and drink just fine but eliquid nada. Tried pro tank, carto tank, zap and even busted out a vivi nova! I am very frustrated! I hope I haven't ruined vaping for myself somehow. My buddy chain vapes all day and hasn't ruined his taste buds lol

Uh Oh! Now you went and did it! Nahhhh, just kidding. Like gasher said, it's Vapers tongue. Do a search, it's very common.

It happens to all of us. Many solutions have been put forth on the forums so I am just going to post what I have tried and works for me.

1. Stay hydrated - drink tons and tons of water since vaping dehydrates you
2. Eat something with a very SHARP flavor a dill pickle or a salty green olive have worked for me
3. Vape plain no flavoring juice for a few days
4. Radically change up your flavor. For example if you vape mostly fruit try a cinnamon red hot flavor

Vapers tongue happens to all of us eventually. Fortunately it passes.

Thanks for the quick responses! That blows my mind that only ejuice seems to be affected. How long does it last usually? I'm off to drink some water and eat a pickle!

It lasted for me about a week or two, but i've heard you can speed the process by drinking waters and brushing your teeth vigorously.

A little tongue scraping and drinking some seltzer works for me.

i would suggestto use this time on any flavors that you are not to fond of so you have all of your favorites ready when it passes.

This happened to me last month, lasted 2 days. I didn't have to do anything, I just kept on vaping my face off until I can taste the juice again. LOL
