I just got an aspire et-s BDC tank and today was my first day using it. It was horrible. It gurgles and spits back like crazy. What am I doing wrong? I've taken it apart, wiped everything out and it still happens. Is this just a problem with this tank? I'm very new to this.
I have 2 of these and I love them. I use them as my daily vape at work on my sub box mini at 10-12 watts. There are a few tricks to this tank.
First don't let the tank go much passed halfway on the window. At that point you have less than 1ml left. When this happens the vacuum gets all wonky and causes gurgling.
A good trick is to gently blow into the tank. Not full on but gently consistently for 5 seconds. Do this a few times throughout usage. This will help the vacuum.
When i have a bit of gurgling I also hit the button on my mod and wait two seconds before I take a drag. This helps burn off any extra flooded liquid in the coil.
You need to hit this tank with as many watts/volts as possible, my knock off ego battery isn't enough power, this causes flooding and gurgling because your not able to vaporize all the liquid.
When u have gurgling just roll up a napkin or paper towell in a thin spike and carefully shove it down the drip tip as far as you can and spin. This will pick up and extra condensation or juice that may cause gurgling.
You can also unscrew the tank and blow hard into it for about 10 seconds. This will let all the juice that is causing your gurgle come out of the bottom. I use this as a last resort.
I'd recommend getting the 1.8 ohm bvc verticle coil. 1.6 has tiny wick holes. The wick holes are huge and you can chain vape without dry hits. I've just recently started building my own verticle coils with organic cotton and I can vape 100% VG at 15 watts and the vapor production is amazing.
These are great tanks. I had lots of sub ohm tanks, RBAs, RTAs etc and this is my favorite. You will enjoy this thing very much if you keep all the things I posted in mind.
If you have any more questions let me know. I've been using these tanks for 4 months and most days I don't get a single gurgle all the way til the tank is empty using the methods I have mentioned. As other people have mentioned its recommend you use a more powerful device to get the full enjoyment out of it.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions.
Happy vaping!
