Hay all I just want to do a quick installation and some settings for the Arctic Fox firmware it's a brief overview of
This is my 1st time doing a YouTube thing really I'm just down to the point on some setting and how to install

Thanks for that @Outcast! That's a lot of info and help. Im enjoying the firmware and when I get back home I will watch this while I'm sitting at the computer and play with it some more. It's helpful when you can actually see what/how the process is. I appreciate your help!

I only have a PC at work these days so I've had to learn to do things with the buttons. I'm using it on a pico and vtc mini and very happy this firmware is available. The live feed back about watts and temp in temp mode persuaded me to go from 28 guage stainless to 30 guage, cut max watts from 30 to 15 (with a tiny bit of preheat) and I'm getting a vape I like just the same as before but using a lot less power.

Hey Outcast, a FB member said maybe you would know. When I try to update my firmware (@ V5.04 presently), or try to change my logo the Wismec firmware keeps giving me the message "Please set the hardware version". Do you know what it's talking about? I just got this thing two weeks ago, downloaded and installed the V5.04 firmware, changed my logo a few times but now all I get is that stupid message. I have had major issues with this device all seems to be a result of its firmware, I'm clueless. All I want is my logo choices back. I don't use Ni200 or Ti, S.S. doesn't require TC so anyway don't know if you can help or if this NFE or Artic Fox firmware is my answer? Thanks m8

Do you have the Wismec firmware or the Arctic Fox firmware?

1st what updater are u using

If ur using the firmware it came with upgrade to the new 5.14 use the updater in the download for logo just click logo and change it

But hardware version is 1.0 if u have a choice

If ur having a problem and want the firmware it came with try flashing it with NFE toolbox u can flash using it with ether firmware and I like it better the. Wismecs

My ss builds will not work in tc on wismec

I haven't even tried SS TC since I've changed firmware. Got to give it a shot and see what happens. I couldn't get Wismec firmware to work in SS TC. I downloaded AF firmware on both my 300 and 200s. I'll let you know what I find out on both of my devices.
