Aliexpress doesn't find brand name results

Hello all,

First, I want to all let you know that I am *not* deliberately trying to evade any rule or any law here on the forum.
I just *maybe* have a very general question, that is maybe not even answered anywhere.
As the question has to do with vaping and with buying hardware as well as other DIY stuff, I thought to start off here on the General vaping Discussion category...

My question is, when I visit AliExpress via my PC I got since a few weeks a weird error message, with some weird behavior of the AliExpress site.
When I put in some brand name i.e. Geekvape or kayfun, on AliExpress, I just get this back from them:

Sorry, your search "geekvape aegis" did not match any products. Please try again.

This is what I am getting about every time when I search for vape stuff or related stuff.
So I get back that error message, and no hits.
While I used to get hits on those kinds of searches in the past (around Sep. 2021).

Below I will post a small list of keywords on AliExpress that do not return any results.
How is this possible so suddenly, that I could order all kinds of vape stuff before, and now I can't even find them on AliExpress...

I'm from the Netherlands, but even with TOR and/or a VPN/Proxy I don't get any results back.
Also I can't find any hits when I google on this result...

Who can help me with this, or who knows what is going on with regard to ordering vape stuff via AliExpress?

You can't buy brand name ecigs on sites like AliExpress and I'd be leery of any ecig that you can buy there. They are overpriced for what you get and there's no way to get replacement coils for them. If you are looking for brand names, try sites like Fasttech or Sourcemore.

I get this when I am looking for general vape products on AliExpress...
Even without using any brand name.
I don't understand it, before I could find almost all vaping products there.

As Territoo said, stick with Fasttech or Sourcemore. Both those companies ship to your country and they both carry legit products. You can try 3Fvape, too for great products. AliExpress will sell knock-off of knock-offs.

The only thing I do not understand is the question as stated in the first post.
Why is that...
I understand, and won't order at AliExpress anymore, both your replies came to me, but still doesn't answer my question, too bad.

I would like to thank you very much for the other "chinese" shops that do sell vape stuff. I am not very familiar with other shops from China, except for Aliexpress.
So thank you very much for that!

Aliexpress is heavily driven by vape politics and their site blows, as do most marketplaces. That's your answer.

And here's a couple more chinese sellers you can buy from that are legit

Will order not anymore vape stuff at Aliexpress because of their policies/politics.

I did a test order from there for PNP Coils because they were so cheap - they perform exactly as the real VooPoo coils. That's my only experience with them so far and have another 3 packs coming now.. Usually takes 3 weeks to get to the states.

The last thing I bought from Aliexpress was the upgraded v2 Miboxer C4-12 battery charger. That was in August of 2019. At the time they were the only vendor that had the updated version. And it was much lower in cost than the v1 Miboxer C4-12 charger was at Amazon.
