Hi Ian,I was curious if the TFV12 CLOUD BEAST KING and the aegis legend would be good together.
Thanks
What mod would you recommend? My memory is that the cloud beast king is kind of a cloud chasing drag racer. To make it go full bore you need a 300w four battery mod. Legend is only 2 battery.
I got the 18650s from a local vape shop and don't know the brand. They're 3000mah.Average 18650 batteries are good for about 45-60 watts per cell.
So long as you stay below 120 watts, you should be fine.
Which 18650's are you using? (brand+model?)
Either of those (Uwell/Freemax) would my personal choice over anything SMOK, but that is my personal prejudice.
What kind of life are you getting from the .2 Dual mesh coils?
Cheers
I
A big boy. Bigger than anything I got. Iirc SMOK made a mod especially to drive that atty for cloud chasing competitions. Can’t remember what it was called. Probably no longer available anyway. The biggest I personally have is a releaux 2/3 in 3 battery mode. Still probably not enough for max performance though. Might get close. I kind of doubt it though. What mod would you recommend?
After a quick Google search I believe you are referring to SMOK GX2/4 350WA big boy. Bigger than anything I got. Iirc SMOK made a mod especially to drive that atty for cloud chasing competitions. I’m not a monster mod specialist. They’re around though. Folks who know things have a way of popping up around here. Give it time. You may even find a surviving example of that purpose built SMOK mod around. If any are even left alive.
I've settled with 80W on the Prince. I would not cheap out on batteries. What batteries would you recommend? The TFV12 Cloud Beast, like many tanks, can accept a multitude of different coils. 300 watts is not needed and is nothing more than exaggerated marketing. The compatible mesh coils for this tank can be operated efficiently @ 100 watts or under.
@Ian Michasiw – to answer your question, the pairing of the TFV12 and Legend would be good SHOULD you operate the Legend within its limitations and the limitations of the batteries. The batteries are the most important part of the equation. What wattage do you prefer to operate the TFV12 at?
This is true. I was thinking of those gigantic thumb sized 5 or 7 hole things. Smaller coil smaller issues. The TFV12 Cloud Beast, like many tanks, can accept a multitude of different coils. 300 watts is not needed and is nothing more than exaggerated marketing. I'm a fan of the .2 ohm dual mesh coils.
I use 50mg nicotine salts
sounds right. @Punk In Drublic is right too though. If you are not using the giant coils you don’t need the giant mod. After a quick Google search I believe you are referring to SMOK GX2/4 350W
80w is medium high. A LG HG2 3000ma would likely be enough and give you some battery life. For full on overkill a Samsung 20s? Might not even be overkill. I haven’t done the math. They’re only 2000ma but they do 30a.I've settled with 80W on the Prince. I would not cheap out on batteries. What batteries would you recommend?
Went looking for that 50mg salts thing and couldn’t find it. Cloud chasing 50mg salts will likely do even more than merely leave a body a quivering wreck though.
That depends upon how many batteries your mod uses and the wattage setting you use on your regulated mod.I've settled with 80W on the Prince. I would not cheap out on batteries. What batteries would you recommend?

WATTAGE PER SINGLE BATTERY on REGULATED MOD:
(Total wattage doubles using 2 batteries; Triples using 3 batteries.)

That Samsung 24S 20A is new to me. Is that a brand new release? I only know of the 25R for 20A 2500 mAh. Nice if there's another choice, but is this a replacement for the 25R?
