Mooch reviewed these in May 2018. Not a replacement for the 25R.

Samsung 24S 18650...fantastic, hard hitting 18650, beats VTC5A/5D/6A

Wow, thanks. I totally missed that. Sounds like a nice battery especially if it holds its own against the VTC5A . I'll have to keep my eyes open on that. Nice option for a single battery mech squonk. All my regulated use is lower to mid wattage use so the 25R has Ben my go to, or with the newer mods that take the 21700s the 40T. For my single battery squonks the VTC5A has been great but I build around 0.5 to maybe 0,3 ohm, so even a 25R is sufficient. But options are good to have.

shhh..you. yea, you! want clouds? want them cheap? shoot for this combo!

TFV12 coil compatible, own coil series up to 400W: IJOY CIGPET ECO12-6.5ml - $5.99
3-battery 230W mod, looking mighty nice: COV Tempest 230W TC Box Mod - $9.90

9 bucks for a mod? I bought a cov mod once, it was that tiny micro mod and lasted me 1 month...hopefully this is better, but I guess for 9 bucks if it only lasts a year you cant complain

My memory is that the cloud beast king is kind of a cloud chasing drag racer. To make it go full bore you need a 300w four battery mod. Legend is only 2 battery.
Nahhh, works fine with 2 batteries. I still use mine. Only smok product i have that still works. I use the single or dual coil head which can handle 135watts. And it is a cloud monster to be sure. And to the OP question, that tank and mod combo will work famously together. No worries. Just make sure when you install the coil head that you dont overtighten it as this will cause it to leak profusely but aside from this issue, its a tank of a tank.

It's a good cheap way to fill your stash. I have a few cheap regulated mods for just that reason. I picked up an iPVD2 for like $7 a while back. Tested it, worked, repackaged it and stashed.

With the future uncertainty thanks to the FDA balancing out your stash with some mechs, some cheap regulated, some good regulated, and an assortment of RTAs and RDAs I figure I'm covered hardware wise. With DIY and my freezer stash I'm set for juice. It's one approach to spreading the risk out.

Yeah, it’s the 6 or was it 7 coil cartridge that was the true horror.
