Accidently left My vaporesso swag in the sun for about 1 hour. When I touched it it was somewhat warm so let it in a cold place for a while. Can it be Bad/dangerous?

I wouldn't do it on the reg, heat can be bad for the battery, but at the same time I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd only be concerned if it was hot enough to damage the battery, but an hour doesn't seem to be that long. The liquid in your tank probably expanded and leaked out, but that should be the least of your worries.

Go have a vape. You're good.

I've left a mod in my car in the summer a few times over the years and got it really hot without any issues. 'Somewhat warm' is IMO not significant, specially if it was just for an hour.

Eh, I think you'll be fine, honestly. I really wouldn't worry unless someone held a magnifying glass above it for about an hour as well.

I will say, I don't leave vapes in my car in Arizona or other places that might kill small children or dogs if they were left inside the car type deal,. I could see an explosion.

I thought I had lost my PockeX vape device for a month. My wife finally found it in the Jeep under all the trash in the back floorboard. This was during a heat spell. It still worked but the battery was never the same.

Probably ok, depending on your climate and on how hot the surface was that you left it on. Doesn't hurt to do a quick visual check on the battery for bulging, peeling insulation etc. before firing it.

You know you want to examine it closely to make sure there's no damage and I personally wouldn't use it until it cools back down to room temperature which I'm sure has already happened but in general these products are a bit more resilient than you would think. I usually don't drop my mod especially not now that I have actual mods but when I was using my all in ones that are literally $15 not waterproof or shock resistant or anything they're just plastic and I dropped it in a tub of water I simply let it dry out before I used it and it worked fine I know that's not your exact issue but they can take a little bit of abuse.

Time is certainly a factor. It can go over 160 deg in a hot vehicle. Do that for hours a day over a month and I would consider that potentially damaged enough to consider moving one of my 18650's to flashlight (or other) duty from then on.

Depends where you are I'd think. Leaving it in the sun in the Sahara might not be good. Leave it in the sun in the West coast of Scotland and the battery will be good for another ten years.

In the summer here if I leave mine in the car it is usually in a cooler. No joke cars get about as hot here as they do in AZ.

I believe my lost vape (no not the brand I lost one, boo hiss) may be in my car somewhere. This is actually a good incentive to clean my car really. Although there are also so many other places it could be, including that planet pens vanish too. At least it's cold here now. Sigh.

Well. I'm glad it's warm and cozy. It was my "flower of life" squid double barrel so much sadness ensued. I know I could replace it but for vapes that die by my hand sometimes I refuse to. Like, I LOVED my Tesla 86 w steampunk tube and if I got another one, I wouldn't even vape it until the husband drilled the right tube size hole for it in my vape holder (I don't do well with keeping tubes upright) but I killed I SO rapidly (it looked like someone had taken a hammer to it seriously) and so I refuse to replace it even though I WANT one. I am open to deals. I need to go post this on the "are you done stocking up thread."

Central Vapors if anyone wants one it's the best in this way I cannot explain. All the steampunk engraving is like, it feels neat in your hand. I highly recommend them although I was SHOCKED because Teslacigs stuff is usually BOMB proof. I didn't even drop I so hard.

Although I was moving from laminate to tile, maybe my assessments were off.
