Hey peeps,

Does anyone know if cignot is located in the US or in China or UK?

Thanks, I was wondering how they can get such cheap pricing on their products..

But nevertheless, this site ONLY deals in 510 Kits and their accessories, and some e-liquid..

They are based in Chicago IL, I order my ecopure from them.

Don't quote me on it but I'm guessing the "no box" deal is cheap because they're assembling the kit themselves rather than selling pre-assembled kits. IDK.

And probably to take advantage of the small Flat Rate boxes from the USPS. The boxes are free and the shipping is $4.95 per box. The Joye box won't fit in it, but the kit (or kits), and lot's of other supplies with it will.

They only offer First Class with all their orders, so that's not it. Their boxed kits are sent first class as well.

Yea you are right, if they buy just accessories from Joye-Tech, it should definitely be cheaper because a kit only really consists of 2 batts 2 attys 5 Pre Filled Carts and a charger.

They can easily get blank carts to replace them or the usb cord charger to replace the box charger...

Maybe that is how they make it so cheap.. Either that or they are taking a little hit just to beat the competition...

I have been vaping for only about a month and have been smoke free for 3 weeks. So! I know very little about ecigs. I have been test driving several models, with varying results. All-in-all, this has been pretty expensive for me. I know someone in Taiwan who is willing to research local suppliers and their prices, but I need to know the names of the manufacturers. The only one I am sure of is the Joye510, by JoyeTech. Are any one manufacturer's products better than another's if the item is made by more than one manufacturer? (specifically batteries and atomizers) This does not include mods, because I haven't really settled on a specific model yet... Does anyone know who manufactures the following models? All input/insight/help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

DSE801
DSE901
M401
KR808D-1

Everything KR stands for Kanger and their MOST popular e-cig right now is the Vapor King, Also known as what you quoted the KR808D-1
KR-208 (AKA Crown7 Hydro) is another model made by them that was somewhat popular at the end of '08 -Beginning of this year.

DSE is made by Sailebao - their most popular being the DSE-901b (MINI)
There is also ANOTHER company that Makes the same exact model you can tell by looking at the threaded end of the battery and the atomizer for a SLB stamp and some numbers, that is how you know it is a True DSE otherwise if there are just numbers or nothing there, then it is made most likely by First Union.

M Series 401, 402, 403, (Just different lengths) are made by Smoore

But even with this information, you do not need your friend at all because he lives in a Different Country, Taiwan, even though it is real close to China, The Factories ARE in China, and ALL you have to do is EMAIL them to get whatever info you need.

So it is a waste of a trip for you buddy to take the trip for pretty much just looking at assembly lines of chinamen putting out PV's together, lol
