Using a KR808D-1 from V4L, I also have a 510 that I use as a last resort.

I wasn't really a pack a day smoker, I smoked because of the experience, taste, feeling, and oral fixation sure, but I don't think I was addicted. I would quit months at a time then come back.

Now I'm vaping because its healthier but mainly because I can smoke indoors without the nasty smell and because theres snow outside.

The problem with me is I vape the carts until I get a funny dry cart taste, I refill and vape some more until the battery starts to lose its power. Pretty much non stop. I've been researching and carts presumably last 14 or so drags, will for me thats too short.

I haven't timed myself exactly but I go through carts and batteries in about 30mins each. I don't understand how one cart and battery can last you hours. It boggles my mind.

I'm vaping on 0mg or low juice now, like I said before I'm not addicted to nic, its all mental for me, I have a very addictive personality to begin with.

I just enjoy the flavors and the act of vaping/smoking.

My VK PT just died and I think its due to how I vape.

My first e-cig was a 510, had 2 510 PTs die on me in little over a week. I dreaded refilling every 15mins,how the juice leaks everywhere on both ends and even into your mouth after each drag, the terrible battery life on them and most of all the finicky atty with its nasty primer fluid that you can't seem to blow out enough of and how it overheats and burns then you get that nasty burnt taste forever no matter how much juice or what flavors, -end 510 rant.

I just don't know what to do. I feel there needs to be a new device invented for freaks like me, power vapers.

A device with 20ml of juice inside of it ready to be vaped or something, a cartomizer/Atty that can withstand a long hard beating, and last but not the very least a freakin battery/PT that can last longer then 30mins/1 week of multiple non stop vaping sessions. Also 5,7,10 second cut offs? Give me a break!

atties are atties and ecig batteries are ecig batteries... if you search around you will find out that there are pvs like the sb protogy protege chuck glv the list is long that have longer battery life some higher voltage and built with the serious vapor in mind
there is even a modder section.... people are working on a better atty in there personal home shop... even an auto juicer

stick around a bit... read posts... learn and then you will see what is what and know what isn't

I was experiencing the same thing you did. I completely quit refilling carts and started dripping. I don't even use filler material just a blank cart. As long as I don't over drip then it works great but it is a bit overwhelming.
Atomiers dies, batteries die, get liquid in your mouth, etc. are all things I experience. These are the disadvantages of vaping over smoking.

I finallly got a Little Chuck which doesn't look anything like a cigarettes being 3 1/2 inch long and weights 4.1 oz. This works much better but my batteries don't last as long as people say they do. They say they will last 24 hours. Mine last about 4. I don't know if I vape more than other people. I have 8 batteries and keep rotating them.

You have to be dedicated to quit smoking and use ecigs. Most people don't say they have all of these problems but I do.

I use ecigs because they are healthier and I feel so much better. I hate dealing with batteries, atomizers, liquid and dripping. I have it all over my house but at least I don't have cigarette butts and ashtrays with the smell in my house.

So even though its time consuming and is difficult at times I keep on vaping.

I became convinced some time ago that the atomizers die an early death due to mechanical stress.
Each time you remove and reinstall the atomizer to a spent battery you are subjecting it to a mechanical stress. It's sort of like when you bend a paperclip back and forth enough times it cracks in two. The atomizer heating element has a higher brittleness factor also because it takes on a temper from being heated to close to glowing, and there is a solder joint on each leg. It just can't stand the abuse/ use.
Since I started using a nicostick boxmod exclusively, I no longer suffer premature atomizer failures. The last one performed admirably for five weeks plus. Prior to the mod, I sometimes killed two or three a week.
Inconsistant vapor is attributed to batteries that have dropped below 3.2 volts while in operation. If my vape gets anemic, I pop in a fresh 14500 battery and I am good to go for five to seven hours ( maybe 10 cartridges or so).
The standard e-cig batteries are just too low of a capacity to satisfy my needs. I have been very happy with the 510 since my mod came into my life.

I've been eyeing the very pricey silverbullet from altsmoke but not sure if theres a cartomizer adapter for it.

Yep, they have the KR808 adapter at Altsmoke in stock. I use it myself.
If you decide to run 6v though on the silver bullet (or any other mod), you will need to refill your KR808 carts with a thicker juice (I usually add some ECOPure Rich to my regular juices to thicken them up a bit).
