510 to USB output adapter

Not really interested in this but just it on FT Authentic Sigelei Legend Variable Volt/Watt Starter Kit w/ X9 Protank . It seems to come with some type of 510 adapter that you screw onto the head of your ecig and allows you to charge external device with a USB cord. Not sure I'd really ever use it but would be nice to have just in case I wanted sacrifice my vape time for some extra cell phone time.

Any idea if you can guy that piece separately? Pretty sure it's output only meaning you couldn't charge your ecig battery with a usb but just use it to output a charge to another device.

I guess I also wonder how that work on vamo. Would have to keep the button pressed to charge and then keep repressing it. That would be a pain. Anyway just thought it looked interesting.

I've googled and looked under images as that's sometimes easiest to find adapters...tried various searches and not getting much either. If anything I think it would be called a "Male 510 to Female USB output adapter" but you have to remove quotes to get anything to come back in searches. Tried "Ego To USB" and "510 to USB" but those don't bring back the right adapter either.

I may put in ticket to FT and tell you guys in 6 weeks I doubt I'd use it much but would be nice to be able to convert an 18650 single battery into usb power output. I know the sell lots of battery banks and even own one of these JIB LH20000 "20000mAh" Portable External Backup Battery Power Bank with LED Illumination but still would nice to be able to have a more compact version that is interchangeable with my 510 mod using a single 18650 battery.

The USB cell phone charger accessory is also available on the Sigelei Zmax V5. No, it can't be used on just any mod that has a 510 connection. The V5 has additional circuitry accessed by a dedicated menu item to use the feature (menu item #8).

Thanks for that info. Not worth me getting another mod at the moment. Happy with ego's and vamo at the moment. I was starting to wonder how that would work with hitting my button every 10 seconds.

Saw that when I was looking for my first mod past my ego's. The inability to purchase new batteries after recharge cycles had passed outweighed the fact that I could charge external device. Also I wanted to be able to carry multiple batteries on extended vacations away from electricity.

So now I have my battery bank that can charge my ego's, cell phone, etc. And as many 18650 backup batteries as I'm willing to carry for my vamo. There were pluses and minus's to each...and my minus may be someone else's plus and vice versa.

Somewhat off topic but I also liked the battery bank as it has two outputs so on a plane I can be using cell phone while charging and wife can be using her kindle while charging. What would ever have done 10 years ago without all these fancy gadgets

That's basically what I got except my power bank is 20,000 mah instead of 10,000 mah...and I'm using a USB VV passthrough with battery...or using the usb to charge my ego or both at same time His looks a little more compact without the USB VV passthrough.

It's just as wide samsung galaxy s4 but slightly longer and heavier...that's the downside to it.

I do like the USB to 510 adapter he has listed. Also like how his power bank you can replace the batteries. I can't in mine...but figured it was dirt cheap.

Except for 10$ I don't think I could buy 4 18650 batteries that would give me 20,000 mah...maybe that's why it's so big is it using more batteries. But you can hardly find 2 18650 for $10.
