OK so I've sent the seller a mssg hoping he'll let me reverse my purchase. Now just to be sure, I've got 2 LG 18650HE2 2500mah batteries in my cart on RTD vapor. It doesn't say if it's flat top or button tho. Or amps. Is this what I need for Zmax?

Here is the one I linked before... They are LG HE2 cells marketed by KeepPower. I've been using them in my SXmini, and the button-top version in my ProVari with great results. The Flat-top will work in the SVD 2.0 and also the sigelei going by PaulBHC's post..

Thanks Technonut! I did indeed overlook this info before, sorry about that. I'm getting the batteries u recommended as soon as I'm done posting! I'll probably grab some nipple tops for my svd too just in case!

It never hurts to have too many batteries. That way you can try different setups depending on your day. I've heard that some batteries get conditioned after a few cycles and may get better. Make sure you rotate your batteries and try to use them all a few times. I ended up marking all the 18350s with a number just to keep track since I bought them at different times.

My Zmax came with two bottom caps. The short one for 18350s and the deep one for the others.

AW (and probably efest) buys batteries from manufacturers and tests them, then wraps them with the AW wrapper and label. I have some that are different lengths.

Lord, I know you guys are about ready to kill me with all my battery stuff and constant questions, LOL! And I think I'm pretty well set except maybe one extra 18350. I found these for a great price (or at least what I was thinking looked good ) . Would these be a bad Choice for either zmax or SVD 2.0 ?

That's for a pack of 2. I thought 5 bucks was almost too cheap... thoughts? Plus, you've all probably told me already, but I can't remember if either of my devices take nipple or flat in this short size batt. I think they both take flat top 18650's but wasn't sure if there may be size discrepancies using short extension that would warrant the additional space utilized with the button top. If none of that last part made sense,[emoji53] forgive me lol [emoji87] [emoji6]

Usually, it's the more popular cells which are counterfeited, such as AW, Sony VTC series, etc. Although, I have even read about cheap TrustFire / UltraFire's being counterfeited before. Check this out.. An 08500 was actually encased inside of an 18650 shell:  (another site which is an excellent resource.. Lot's of good info ;) )

Torchy the Battery Boy: 18650 Batteries / Chargers

I'm not sure about how to tell if those Panasonics you ordered are counterfeit.. Those aren't really what you want regardless.. Here is a thread discussing those cells:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...011-panasonic-18650-3100mah-vs-sony-vtc5.html

You will also find some good recommendations there.. ;)

The problem with the various "Fire" batteries is that they often use reclaimed laptop 18650 cells and you never really know what you are getting. When laptop batteries go bad, it is typically only 1 or 2 of the cells that have gone bad and you can reclaim the good cells from the pack. I used to do this for my flashlights all of the time and many folks on the flashlight forums did the same. I've since discontinued the practice since even some of the more modern flashlights can have issues with the generic "Fire" cells.

The ZMax will take either because it is telescopic. Just don't over tighten the tube trying to get rid of the gap. You will break the mount for the display and board.
So in everyone's opinion, do you think the flat top or nipple top are better, of course that would depend on weather the SVD accepts both like the Zmax. I've heard ppl say that the flat top have more potential for hazardous situations. I guess due to them potentially being in closer contact with the metal parts inside the tube, Idk [emoji53]

Has anyone who ordered SVD 2.0 from vaporbeast had theirs ship out yet or finish processing? I've had several other things I ordered from different sites ship out, even though it's a holiday. Just curious.

I just received my shipping notice, so you should have one soon if not already.

I am so done with batteries. I have 3 Provaris and bought 3 different Isticks VW battts and yeah I know they'll wear out eventually but the price of batteries and the charging yada yada yada. I am at the point where I've found my favorite juices, mods. attys . n gear that I'm ready to just say "I am satisfied". Half of the vaping satisfaction (for me) is less fiddleing, more vaping, more tasty vapes. A happy medium between cost, taste, satisfaction, cloud, and aesthetics (if that's yer bag) is a 30 Watt I stick with a by leo Sophia in a tank ahhhhhh.

I received the email this morning that the shipping label is done but nothing happened all day and no email about the price drop.
That's a bummer [emoji53] . I've never done business with them before... perhaps they don't hv the staff for that "individualized attention" we get so accustomed to in the vaping world, but again, who am I to say, seeing how this IS my very 1st order with them lol. Hope [emoji120] they come through on that discount [emoji4]
