I started with ego's and tried a couple of vv ego batteries until I finally pulled the trigger on a ProVari. I haven't touched anything else since I got it, the wife tried it and wanted one as well.
I am looking for a box mod that has the ease of use, the looks and durability of the ProVari. I am looking for VV and would love the tank to be I closed inside the device like a Billet Box or Reo.
Any suggestions?

As far as I know...yes.
and you've listed off the only two mods that compare, durability-wise. If you are dead set on VV, get an iTaste MVP. It's fairly durable. The iTaste VTR has an internal connection (kind of), but you are limited to ProTanks or smaller.

You will probably only be happy with a Sunbox Skynet, though.
