Vicious ant Vidar

HELP! Just got a brand new Vicious ant Vidar and Genos atty combo…problem is my mod burns me randomly! Button gets hot, stainless around the top will randomly get hot…not every hit! Super random but consistent enough I’m concerned, will it blow up? Why’s it doing this? I’ve tried every build I can think of to no avail! No wires touching anything…batteries are new! Is the mod shorting out? Any advice would be appreciated! Reached out to VA weeks ago and no response!
